I wrote my PTE yestarday I think I have to re-write. Though I wont say the result is that very bad considering the fact that I went into the exam hall without a minute of preparation. Please guys kindly share the materials with me at adeojo.bo@yahoo.com.

Hello e-fam....greetings from Sydney Australia! !! We landed yesterday (2pm Sydney time) 5 hours behind schedule. Delay started from MMA due to refuelling and we saw it's grand Father for dubai; no aircraft!

Beautiful houses and country. ...that's all I can say for now.
Booked a room through flatmates.com.au; my host picked us up after Johnsontade couldn't due to the delay we had. My okporoko, stock fish and uda were seize because it wasn't grinded.

Go and buy 'i pass my neighbour ' generator plug and fix it to your Nigerian extension, it is same with the Australian plug. This will allow you use your chargers and other appliances.

Hustle don start....get across to people and let them know what you need. They are generally willing to assist; had to ask and used someone's phone at the airport.

Guy, if truly you got this score without preparation, oga Bimz has just said the qualifying word for it.
Just a day or two of preparation and you are good to go.

Search for E2langauge in youtube or their official website e2language.com.

All the fuzz about yellow card.....in the haste to get to the airport, we couldn't go to port health, moreover it was a public holiday. The check-in at MMA asked, I said we didn't have. There was no further questions. Same scenario played out at Sydney airport. This confirms an article I had read saying it's recommended but not a ground to refuse you entry.
Moreover most of us don't vaccinated with the yellow fever vaccine, they pay airport cleaners to get the card.

MY EXPERIENCE .......

Please kindly advise:
I had a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, ATS Certificate(ICAN), and later M Sc Banking & Finance as I had most of my career in Banking. I first worked in Bank for 3 years as Cash Officer and was retrench end during the Tsunami. Thereafter, I worked with a private company as an Internal Auditor for solid
I would very much appreciate your opinion.
Thanks.

Hello CB,
I would answer this to the best of my understanding.Pls visit the CA website.
There"s a list of courses they expect you to have studied in school in order to be positively assessed.I would suggest you get ALL your transcripts and syllabuses,go through them and confirm they contain the courses listed on CA"s website.If they do,then you're almost sure you're getting a positive assessment.
It doesn't matter if the courses are spread through your two degrees and ATs qualification.

Good day Mr. Bellong,

Please help me on this. I studied Mechanical Engineering at HND level, PGD - Production Engineerring, MSc - Engineering Management. I have 9 years working experience as Safety Officer.

Do I evaluate with Engineer Australia or VETASSES? Which one of them is supposed to handle my case.

Thanks

As regards form 80,

Does it matter to have personal contact in Australia (Question 47 & 48). Does having contact add value to onces application?

Can one give a NO answer to Question 31 "Do you know any details of the places you will stay during your time in Australia (eg. hotel, friends, relatives)?". What is the effect of a NO answer.

Thanks

sir,
kindly re-attached the document from VETASSES which has further information about all occupations assess by the body. thanks.
bellong:
@Bigfido

Your wife only need English test if she can't get a letter from her university in support of language competence.

If you have the required points, you don't need any point from her.

@yody,

Yes you can nominate PHM or Medical Administrator. However, you need to read VETASSES' instructions for the two occupations. I once attached a document from VETASSES here which has further information about all occupations assessed by the body.

I am very sure, your degree will be assessed positively, where you may need to work on is how to convince them on the experience.

Once you land, waste no time in passing the AMC exam. Practising as a doctor is a gold mine. Unfortunately, my brain is too active to go back and study medicine.. cheesy

@bolaobby,

In the form 80 and 1221, you must fill in the information of all your siblings. You wouldn't have to do their medicals except you want to add them as dependents.

When I submitted my application, I added some family members as dependents not traveling with me but DIBP crossed them all out themselves. No medicals requested for any of them.

NO, it doesn't matter. A NO is good enough.

Can one give a NO answer to Question 31 "Do you know any details of the places you will stay during your time in Australia (eg. hotel, friends, relatives)?". What is the effect of a NO answer.
Yes... Or simply put the city you intend settling eg. Sydney, Melbourne, Onkaparinga.

@fabulousfinite,

The body to assess you depends on your nominated occupation. You will see it in front of the occupation you intend to nominate.

@Kikiade,

Sir, I can't place my hand on it now as it is somewhere on my system. Anytime I have the luxury of time to do it, I will.

Regards.

Gurus in the house I need a take on my case. I hold both HND & BEng in Chemical Engineering. Neva worked as an engineee b4. Work experience is only based on safety as a safety officer & currently a fire safety officer/fire fighter. Only CSOL ia applicable to me in that regard. My question is should I look at chemical engineering or fire fighter as more viable. ?

Hello Gurus, trust we have had a good day so far and we are approaching the new year with GREAT expectation.

Please I would like to know if the highlighted attached would be/not be a ground for a negative assessment with VETASSES given that the person has never occupied a managerial role (most likely at the bottom of the chart) though nominating an occupation with a managerial role.

Swift and candid responses would be highly appreciated.

Cheers& Happy New Year in advance.
