6ft my dick, there's no cemetery in Nigeria now that you can dig 6ft. Every where is filled up, if you dig beyond 2ft, you will meet decomposing body, they now bury on top of old corpse and if you make mistake and bury with a coffin, the cemetery attendants will exhume the corpse at night and take away the coffin and sell it. Coffins occupy much space and they don't like it yet they wont tell you. Those people burying their dead ones in cemetery with Coffins are only supplying the attendants goods.

Cremation makes more sense and has more advantages. No health risks, little or no use of land space, no risk of being dug out for ritual purpose, portability of remains, less expensive burial procedures like purchasing caskets, cleaning of remains e.t.c.

The main disadvantage is people whose religion and/or traditional practices encourage burial will see it as a sin and that they might miss some form of Utopian reward after they die if they were cremated.
