I agree with u when u said that men shud not be in relationship when he is broke.. But I think every female is born with survival instinct.. So whether we're broke or not, we will find ways how to survive in general..

Abeg, forget all this "real men" talk.

Any woman who cannot provide for her own basic needs has NO business being in a relationship.

Relationships are give and take. No man wants a liability who cannot do basic things for themselves.

So if the guy provides today and is broke tomorrow, then what??

I met a guy sometime last year ,trust me the guy together with his girl friend were broke like ass.I still met with em towards the ending of the year, to my surprise I saw changes on em they were looking a little fresh ,I could not let go I asked how,.The Guy explained to me that he did some little hustle gather some little change gave it to his lady,the lady then set up a small plaiting place. Initially they started under a tree ,but today ,she plait people in side a shop.her shop.

So my take in this matter is not saying a poor ass(man) shouldn't date a poor ass(lady)but having a dream and a complement
REMEMBER most of us our parents dates when they were poor,but today they are living a better life .

Being financially buoyant sometimes is temporary, same as being broke. So are saying when the guy is temporary broke, the girl should Usain Bolt until he becomes rich again?
