Please this might be a bit lengthy but bear with me.this is not a framed up write up.this is happening right now,as in reality.
Four years ago as a young b.eng who just finished serving,I got a job as a supervisor I also double as a site engineer in an average construction company in mushin Lagos. We develop buildings by breaking down the old ones and erecting new ones.
So few days into my new job, I saw this very beautiful lady. Sincerely she is extremely beautiful. Let's talk about me for a moment.
1) I have low self esteem. I can't approach girls on my own even while I was in Unilorin. Am not a virgin though.
2) there is this attitude about me,it is not proudness. If I try to talk to a girl I like for two to three times and she gives me attitudes,no matter the love I have for such a girl,it disappears immediately after the third trial.
So this lady am talking about,we do greet. Just the normal good morning,afternoon and evening. We were doing this for almost 10months till will finished the project that brought us to her street. But I do come around sometimes just to spy on her from afar and sometimes,I do let her see me. So for like like 3yrs+ I was doing this and I didn't see any green light from her and am so afraid of being rejected.
So fast forward to dec 2 last year,I passed through her street again and this time,she gave me an I.V that she is getting married,I was shocked. She studied me for a while and asked the hardest question have ever been asked in my life. (Did u ever for once loved me)? I just stood rooted where I was. After about some seconds,this was my answer.
EVER SINCE THE FIRST TIME I SET MY EYES ON YOU,HAVE NEVER LOVED ANY ONE THE WAY I HAVE LOVED U. YOU SEING ME IN YOUR STREET EVERYTIME IS because I CANT GET YOU OUT OF MY MIND.I THINK ABOUT U,DREAM ABOUT U. IF I DIDNT SEE YOU IN A WEEK,I MIGHT GO CRAZY HENCE MY REASON FOR COMING TO THIS STREET EVERYTIME.
What followed my statement were two resounding slaps from her and she burst into tears thereafter. It was the slap that brought people out and she told them am the one she's been talking about.
Her younger sister now explained to me that she didn't accept any man for years because she said she was waiting for someone. Not until the pressure were to much that she agreed to marry the said groom.
Now she is threatening to call of the weeding and she doesn't want to see me also.she's been indoors for days now,she hardly eat.
Fellow romancelanders, what should I do?

When you see someone you like, why not just approach him/her and express your feelings than to wait(for fear of rejection) till s/he elude you. You then start having shock upon shock, seizure coupled with heart pain over your loss.

am not a kid or a novel or story writer to frame up such thing. Maybe it's high time you guys move into the real world and actually grasp what is going on. This is my first write up on nairaland and am not here to sell stories so?

as u said,only stupid guys watch zee world and thank God I don't have the time luxury to sit down and watch a lengthy film like those of zee world, I did that when I was younger. So u also should get a life outside nairaland,there are lots of impossible things happening daily in the real world.
U think say the world dey revolve around nairaland?
