A40:Jordan value na for defense why else your Mavs dey chase am up and down for free agency period that year ? |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:01pm On Jan 05, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:That value is immensely overrated. The Mavs are typically lazy at scouting mostly hitting and missing in FA. This is a franchise that has not developed an all-star since 2003 |

A40:Jordan is basically the same type of player as Tyson Chandler, let him act as the defensive anchor and not worry about creating shots for him,he could gets his points from putbacks and offensive rebound. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:22pm On Jan 05, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:Even this defensive anchor thing is overrated. This article breaks it down to the nitty gritty. bballbreakdown.com/2015/04/17/why-deandre-jordan-doesnt-deserve-dpoy-consideration/ |

Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 6:13pm On Jan 05, 2017 |
A40:too much analytics!!! all I got from this is that defensive Center value is decreasing. honestly, wont you rather have DeAndre in Bogut's place ? bogut isn't working out for Dallas. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:10pm On Jan 05, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:Chale. There are a lot of useful nuggets you can pick from these articles. What they also show is that defensive impact goes beyond highlight blocks e.t.c When a so-called defensive anchor's team is bleeding fewer pts when he sits than when he is on the floor then water don pass garri. On the flipside when a guy like Draymond Green sits for the Warriors you know there is kasala. There is a reason the Clippers aren't an elite defensive team despite DeAndre's numbers. If Bogut got injured less often I would take him over DeAndre easily |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 9:42pm On Jan 05, 2017 |
SIRcumalot: A healthy Bogut over 2 DeAndre any day. Who was DeAndre before CP3 landed in LA? NOBODY.... |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:23pm On Jan 05, 2017 |
My pillow has to pardon me for tonight, no way am I missing OkC Vs Houston. Two of my top 3 MVP picks are balling, and I somehow have to convince myself that Harden is the better of them two. Yes? |

kyle korver to the cavs okc better come out strong in the 2nd half or this game is over. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 3:25am On Jan 06, 2017 |
A40:one or even two great defensive player(cp3) can't get you great defensive rating your team must have a great defensive scheme in place. so far, jordan has made all nba first team defense twice now. why the clippers defensive rating goes up without him is a mystery, maybe opposing team just make threes and drive less. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 4:59am On Jan 06, 2017 |
harden is still my guy.
but I won't mind if Westbrook takes the MVP this season. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:01am On Jan 06, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:Chai, sleep no even let me finish 3rd quarter but one thing is evident nd we have echoed those sentiments here time and again : Westbrook is a one man army Harden is a team leader. Yesterday, for all his exploits , his team mates let him down at crucial moments and that's cos he calls most of the play. Harden is my man 1 Like

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:07am On Jan 06, 2017 |
Well the All Star voting, though largely based on court celebrity power (Ofcus I would vote for a player I fancy watching) also tells us alot. Most of the top picks share my sentiments, my only surprise is seeing my one and only Dwayne (d'flash) Wade ahead of Isaiah Thomas. . If a half broken Dwayne Wade can get ahead of Thomas, then It's obvious he wouldn't get a look-in for MVP as some campaigned on here. |

Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:52am On Jan 06, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:Guy are you his agent? I brought an article that broke down everything and you are still arguing. DeAndre made all-NBA First team last season yet I can name 5 centers better than him easily. We have seen instances where the D.P.O.Y didn't even make all defense first team. These awards are not consistent and this is what I always tell you people How can a so-called defensive anchor's team actually defend better in his absence |
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 12:37pm On Jan 06, 2017 |
A40:For all this talk I would like to be. The article is just one guys opinion, after all this media type are the one that have voted him in twice now. It will be really funny if Westbrook and KD start for the West all stars. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 4:12pm On Jan 06, 2017 |
SIRcumalot: It would be, really but not going to happen. Curry and Harden will get the most votes in the backcourt. But never underestimate these weird NBA fanatics. Afterall, Zaza Pachulia is up there 1 Like |

lolawilliams: I have been a follower of this thread for long but this time around, I was tempted to comment! Is this list for real? WTF!!! Zaza Pachulia? How many pro games does Joel Embiid have? Are you kidding me!??!?!?! those niggas have more votes than: Kawhi Leonard Anthony Davis Draymond Green DeMarcus Cousins Karl-Anthony Towns LaMarcus Aldridge Blake Griffin Marc Gasol 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 6:14pm On Jan 06, 2017 |
zopaks: As for ZaZa, it's so surprising. i must confess, but you should know that even 40,000 of it didnt come from his USA fans. I heard his country did it for him, majority of the Georgians voted him in, 400k+ votes were from the Georgians. He's like their messiah. For Embiid, I think everyone loves the kid |

lolawilliams: The Russians may have a hand in these votes. Same way they hacked the last u.s elections. Orubebe would not take it. Meanwyl, best news of the year so far: we got kyle korver. |
Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 9:45pm On Jan 06, 2017 |
nairamaniac: Lool. I was so shocked when i first saw the list, i thought it was fake i search other site to check to confirm the authenticity and found out it was real... Zaza over Cousins and A.davis and karl looool. Korver happy lowkey he wont get sweep by the Cavs in p/offs like it happened for the past 2seasons. lool korver is a good pick, just think about when JR gets back HOLY HELL!! , the Cavs already knows who they will be meeting in finals and its obvious the team we got cant beat the Warriors in finals. Now that we copped us a 42.9% 3point shooter. I just hope we get one last thing which is a rim protector, then we're good to go. |
Re: The NBA Begins by nairamaniac: 11:45pm On Jan 06, 2017 |
lolawilliams:its real o. In fact, they should restrict foreign countries from voting. It needs to be looked into. I don't think we need a rim protecting specialist. Cavs would always out-rebound warriors, especially on the offensive end. Tristan, love and Lebron can always take turns protecting the rim. |
