rent no dey fear you? When money finish or no work na poverty be that

5-6 mil can build a nice 4 bedroom bungalow sha... But in Benin here, that guy wey dem dey call Oshiomole introduced property tax before he left office... Meaning that you will pay property tax every year for that your house or land... If you don't pay, dem go confiscate your property o.

So me fear property tax more than I fear rent... I don't know how PH own dey sha.
But with 7 mil, a 4 bedroom bungalow is yours in 2 months' time

OK I'll play,

As Long as you are not marrying someone who has very very high standards then with the amount you've got up there, you should be good to go.

1.5-2 mil go get you one plot na, then settle the community youth leader with 1 mil, and build with 5-6 mil. So with 9 mil, you're good to go.

OK seen, if she works too then maybe you don't have to share all the financial burden yourself BUT if you're having doubts especially with the amount you've put up there then maybe you should leave it a bit till you're reasonably comfortable enough financially to tie the knot.

Sounds like a plan bro, you could get engaged and not necessarily have to walk down the aisle this year too

Thats what u should do, marriage of a thing is overhyped.. A day thing that wont even cost u morthan the 3m u stated. Abeg no tell me the girl u want to marry is not from dangote or otedola family cos i would be very angry u are wasting ur mental energy on semi ajebutter like my girlfriends.

10 years rent would give you enough time to build a house of your own at your own pace without worrying about paying rent again until 10 years' time... It is called "long term reasoning"... This is exactly the same thing big companies do here in Nigeria.

I remember when I told the agent that I wanted to pay for 10 years' rent, he was like "huh?" undecided No wonder why only a few are able to get through the poverty line in Nigeria.
