this is almost like a loan, but better.
If he manages to get his acts together and there's space for him, we activate the buy back clause and get him back.
If not, we get part of the money if he moves elsewhere.

If he still continues to be garbage, we manage the money we recouped

It's a win for us whatever happens

Talks to abolish Offside, Penalties and Yellow cards.

That New FIFA President is the definition of Goat head...What's all this Rubbish?

On my campus there are tons of Soccer tournaments going on but if you are an Athlete, you are ineligible to play so I do play with my teammates and friends in the off-season...You see strikers Joking with the Goalkeeper only to lash on a clearance from the other half, sprint and smash it to the top corner...Imagine the likes of Lukaku outpacing defenders for fun or Aguero master of first touch finishes.

How do you even abolish penalties...Players like pogba will be choking players up and down the penalty box or is it Abolishing yellow cards so Niggas like Costa can increase their insanity.

And I had High hopes for this new FIFA President, let them go find better proposals Abeg.

Lyon have agreed a deal to sign Memphis Depay from Manchester United for a fee which could rise to £21.7m, according to Sky sources.
Sky sources understand United will have a buy-back option as well as sell-on clauses inserted into the deal that takes the Netherlands international to the Ligue 1 club.
The potential add-ons include Lyon securing qualification for the Champions League and the winger signing a new contract with them.

Sky sources understand Antoine Griezmann is on Manchester United's radar but any deal with Atletico Madrid would not be agreed before the summer.

Reports in national papers today claim Griezmann is a target for Jose Mourinho, and we understand if the France striker becomes available, United will make an offer.

We understand United feel he's at the right age and fits the right profile for the club.

SMH!

Fellaini and movement and awareness in the same sentence? The same movement and awareness that has given away two penalty kicks this season.

Yes, he created another option for us in the game when he came on because we decided to adopt the ROUTE ONE option when our players didn't make use of the chances created through the midfield (at least 3). Route one is always our plan b when things are not going on, nothing more than that. At that time Liverpool were trying to defend their one goal lead which is natural.

Saying Herrera is only a workhorse with no creativity, no movement, no awareness which Fellaini has. But Herrera that doesn't have these was able to have 5 tackles, 4 interceltions, 4 recoveries and created a chance. He even made one through ball from the back, i think to Valencia. There were a couple of such incisive passes he made to Valencia.

He didn't do anything better than Carrick in that match but carrick didn't make a single interception or recorvery and the only tackle he attempted he lost it in the match.

Though i'm not surprised by all these because an unrepentant hater will never see anything good in Herrera even when he continues to shame you in every minute he has played this season.

Summer arrival Pogba's performance was heavily criticised by former Republic of Ireland international Dunphy, who does not believe the 23-year-old is living up to his price tag.

"Pogba was never worth £100 million," Dunphy told RTE.

"At £20m he would have been expensive.
shocked With the money they've spent with Mourinho and [Louis] van Gaal, they should really have a better team."

Dunphy has been less than impressed with Pogba's impact on the pitch since returning to Old Trafford from Juventus.

The midfielder helped the Turin side to four successive Serie A titles, but Dunphy has not yet seen the kind of performances he was expecting with United from the £100m signing.

"Paul Pogba is very immature," the former midfielder continued.

"He plays like a kid. He is not worth the money they paid for him and he won't be worth the money they paid for him.

"He is the elephant in the room. He's useless."

Lmao!

Fellaini gave away the penalty because he was clumsy and not due to having poor movement and that's why Van Gaal plays him as a no 8 who combs around the midfield or SS at times.

You think I hated Herrera? if I really did hate him, I wouldn't have acknowledged his work rate and defensive works however these doesn't negate the fact his movement and awareness have been quite average.. Looking at his new set of skill which is defensive skills, I think the no 6 role should be perfect fit for him however, we would be lacking Carrick's control, reading of the game and passing range in the role. Also, Herrera's positioning in the no 6 role still looks a bit suspect in some matches e.g vs Stoke, Chelsea etc.

Anyway, my point is neither Herrera nor Fellaini should be starting for us and if one of them does start, I don't care which of them is starting because as far as I'm concerned neither are good enough for our first team.

Leyqute:

Age has a role in it bro. He is still young and can develop. He hasn't reached the peak of his career. There are players who start playing exceptionally well in their mid-twenties.

About his record. He was the highest goal in the Eredivisie, like Suarez and Ronado did, and he helped PSV to the title after several years of league bareness. In 2015 he was voted "Best Young Player" in the world by France Football.

So with the above you still are waiting for memphis to "develop" and you are still classifying him as "potential"?

So Rooney Ronaldo Giggs who were making first 11 at old Trafford at the same age that Memphis is were what?Wizards?
So Michael Owen who was European footballer if the year at 21 was still being given time to "develop"?

Ogbeni fashi dis yarns. Memphis at 22 cannot be given any excuses. Me I no gree. He flopped at United. End of.

Leyqute:

If after selling to Lyon he starts performing you'll hear peeps saying "eyah, Utd shouldn't have sold him."
How does this make sense in line with your argument?
You are clamouring for his price to be high but you are wondering if we will regret selling him.

Isn't that a bit of an irony given that this same player has hardly dome anything over the last 18 months?
Leyqute:

Look atew.

And be wasting money anyhow abi? And what evidence do you have that his replacement will be better?
Brah the joke is on Lyon for buying this dud.

Wasting money is nit for you to decide as a casual fan.Last time I checked we all don't have a say on transfers for the club we support. As far as players will help win trophies I don't care what they cost and neither should you because it's not your duty.

As per replacement not living up I admit you are right but right now if Jesse Lingard is making match day squads with his aimless style of play while Memphis (after several years in Holland at top level and a world cup appearance) cannot make the bench after nearly 2 seasons then I rest my case.

I think the sale of Memphis Depay should be termed "a welcomed Development". He has been given enough time to prove himself but he's not really ready yet!

The Buy-back Clause in his Contract shows that United still hope he's gonna come good, and really believe in his Talent!

I wish him all the Best, and I pray we will be able to sign a right Player to don the iconic No. 7 Jersey in Griezmann!

"I don't tie anyone down, I simply keep working to continue getting better for the sake of the club.

"He [Griezmann] is in an extraordinary moment, is working well, has gotten back on the scoresheet and his form is good. It is normal that the best teams in the world want him. I am not surprised that the teams who are looking are the ones who can afford him."

I'm sure elampiro go like this one.

Look at the pace, awareness and decision making. The decision making of Giggs and Rooney were always very high, sometimes when I say we have crawled back in decision making, it would be as if I always want to support Rooney. Martial and Rashford need to work on that. Even JS Park was very good at that. You can see how Rooney cleverly dropped the ball in the exact place Ronaldo would run head it for the second goal against Inter Milan. I remember that day, at half time SAF swap Rooney and Giggs position, Rooney went to the wing to protect Evra who was being used by Inter Milan as their attacks went through there. Rooney was more a wing back, but the one or two times he went forward he made it count.

Every time I watch Martial, Rashford and Lingard get into positions of picking a clever pass and they don't, I remember Giggs. But we will still get there with these boys- Martial and Rashford.
