For someone to say tasting alcohol / wine is a sin . And you support that 100% means you only follow what your pastor dictates and not your conscience....If you know you cannot control the urge of getting intoxicated with hard drinks..then don't take it,so the bible warns.

when you meet with medical doctors ,LIGHT MODERATE drinking may help reduce the risk of diabetes in later life, certain types of stroke, osteoporosis and Alzheimer's disease.

If you ave a "leading" to start taking alcohol because of health challenges, and you can VALIDATE THAT IN THE BIBLE, go ahead.

But note two things, deep personal faith isn't just for anyhow Christian, its for those who Holy Spirit had former character in over time. Those who like Jesus said in John 14:30 had no "stain" either in public/private lives.

This nessesitated my position of written earlier.


And that aside, who do you been justified taking alcohol for a health challenge, when you serve a God that wants you to TOTALLY DEPEND on him for everything. A God that said your body is His temple in 1Cor 6:19?

How do you reconcile that?

#I love red wines which may contain some little %. Just a glass after meals enough to cool my nerves don do me...or sometimes while programming...It boosts my morale...I see it has normal beverage / food.So the same way food can lead you to sin is the same way alcoholic drinks can lead you to sin...

So My point remains....tasting alcohol is not the sin...but what acts resulted after taking it...
Looking at a pretty lady on the street is not the sin...but the lustful thoughts that resolute in the mind.
