Buhari has completely lost any public goodwill that brought him to power by being slow, took forever to appoint ministers and members of cabinet, hurriedly implement TSA and that put the economy is great financial stress. Buhari is on a free fall now and he will be surprise in coming months that an hungry masses is and angry masses and an angry masses does not care about death. 1 Like |

our problem is so difficult to solve, we don't value our Naira, protesting over the dollar to naira exchange rate is insane to me, our currency is the naira, we can't continue to wait over depend on another currency for our own survivor. For all the people protesting, pls find something to do, we can not force Americans to bring the dollar to Nigeria. 1 Like |

The protests may degenerate into revolutuon. Nigeria is ripe for revolution, actually. Unless the greedy, often recycled, politicians who holds the nation hostage are done away with, the country will continue to witness economic mess, corruption in high and low places, double digit inflation and all manner of inadequacies bedevilling Nigeria. Revolution is the way out now. 1 Like |

They said it was low oil prices but they have recovered marginally. They also said militancy was responsible but since the turn of the year oil production has hit 1.9million barrels, 70% of our max. So what is happening, why does the naira continue to slide. Because of steady disinvestment occassioned by failed policies. This government has run out of excuses and ideas. 2 Likes |

darknetcom: No vex but you be confirmed Olodo. The U.S and the US Dollars are two separate entities. Whilst we shouldn't be too bothered about the U.S the dollar on the other hand is the entire world's preferred trading currency. A bit like the old days when our ancestors traded in cowries. Maybe in the future we will trade in gold but till then it's a wise man that understands that you need all the dollars you can find if you are to be an international success in today's world. 1 Like |
