Because some people don't accord their biological parents respect does not translate to all believers. It's very laughable for you to be practicing Christianity without imbibing the true teachings of Christ in real sense.

The most gullible christain in the whole..Pentecostals. They fear and obey their Daddy and Mummy GO even more than they obey our Lord Jesus christ. They only fast when their Daddy GO prescribes it for them. Their daddy and Mummy GO can neva be wrong (even the bible tells us of how Jesus got angry at some people who turned the temple to something else. Am sure the present mummies and daddy GO will just allow those pple to continue with their usual slang "It is well" ). So so docile set of pple that they will go and ask their daddy GOs when our lord Jesus christ returns if it's the right jesus or not, and if their GOs says No, so be it..They cant think on their own. Their mummy and Daddy GOs are the one controlling their marriages, teaching the wives what to say or do to the husband and vice-versa. It is OK for their daddy GO to slap a harmless 9year old girl and claim he will do it again getting the appluase of his followers. It is ok for their daddy GO to ride around in expensive transport system while they wallow in abject poverty. The list is endless..We now have more Atheist springing up no thanks to these modern day con men aka daady and Mummy GOs. Trust me, if the brain is not needed by humans, God wont put it inside our skulls.
I can go on and on..As for me, i have decided to use my medula oblongata so dt nobody will tell me my white handkerchief is black , that i need see d balck colour only if i use my spiritual eyes blah blah. The most painful aspect of this is the scam called tithes, seed sowing and the rest. To all of them, God is watching oo.. The simple that guides me is Love ur neighbour as urself. This golden rule is wat the western world is using and imbedded on their heart frm birth. Not the hypocrisy we practice. If religion continues to be like this, both muslims and xtains, i am sorry, Africa will neva develop/progress. There's nothing wrong if I call my spiritual father daddy. Abraham's wife was calling him "my Lord". Apart from my biological parents, I also call every aged man/woman daddy and mummy. While in secondary school, we have those we call sons and daughters and this doesn't mean that we don't know our roots. There are people that don't go to church yet they don't take care of their parents.

Some Christians will lie down,prostrate,knell and more just to greet or speak with their Pastor who is just a teacher of the bible.

When you say MOST pastors are guilty of this, in all sincerity how many churches have you gone to and appraised based on your submission and found wanting? We shouldn't be oblivious of the fact that there still many churches teaching sound doctrines so also are churches without sound biblical doctrines, who are only out there to take advantage of the sheep.
I can't fathom when people come on social media to make the church look horrible as if the gullibility of some is now for all.

We Yoruba's, we call virtually every old person daddy or mummy so there is no big deal there. The affection I feel for the outsiders I call daddy and mummy is quite different from the one I feel for my parents. Too many attention seeking people these days.

some virtually worship these men of God and even fear them more than they fear God. They recognise and regard the presence of these men than God... its becoming a problem. some people now go to church, crusades, vigil etc just to seek d face of man of God rather than God otherwise, how do u explain someone who has been seated and feeling reluctant in d service since the praise nd worship has been going on at d start of a programe I attended recently, but immediately, they learnt that the "papa", " daddy " has arrived and is about coming in, they all jumped to their feet in excitement, dancing, hailing him... these people didn't regard d presence of God as d praise nd worship was going on but regarded their daddy's presence. so its really bad... dat needs to change
