Nope. We don't want and we didn't vote for him. He actually lost the popular vote and is sitting in the White House due to the intricacies of the electoral college system and Russia (maybe)

It's all propaganda until someone or a loved one is affected. It's visa holders and Muslims now, next it might be anchor babies, green card holders and even Africans. #JustSaying

Who is we?
Anyways, I aired my opinion. Trump is my guy! Reminscing the days I passed Trump Towers in Chicago and smile.

One day one day I will lodge in the penthouse!

Possibly,if she got Qatar visa to use Qatar hotel on stopover.

I just think all these are propaganda. Trump is a great guy. They should just let him work. Were yhey all sleeping during the elections? Aren't these his campaign policies? So what's all the hullabaloo sef. Americans wanted him. Now they have him.

Buhari is also a great guy because he promised Nigerians a change and he also delivering it.

Exactly. He's doing everything he promised to do during his campaign.
Might not all be propaganda, but it's definitely gonna get worst. There would definitely be rumours but with some elements of truth. We just all need to b more careful and cautious of how we change plans on this journey. Scary and shocking as it may be, it's d reality we're facing. May God make it easy.

Well said.

With your b1/b2 visa and a proper proof of visitor status and non intending immigrant, you won't have problem with CBP.

Who else has noticed embassy wait time has reduced? As at today interview date in lag is Feb 7. Wetin happen na? My brothers no gree apply for visa again grin

Lol!

#iStandWithTrump. #MakeAmericaGreatAgain.
Sorry I'm derailing the thread.

We anticipate more POE experiences, and if you have been turned back, please share your experience so that we can learn and disprove my assumption that it is propaganda

I hope you get to lodge in that penthouse and I certainly hope he makes America great again by stopping birth tourism altogether. I bet we can both agree on that. Lol cheesy

Oh didn't know. I was asking of them. Sorry about that.My hubby saw this and sent to me.Copied:
Good morning ladies. My friend who is an attorney in New York and a RCCG Pastor sent this to me early this morning. This happened to his own niece:

US IMMIGRATION

My friend's niece arrived yesterday at JFK airport. She is a Nigerian with a valid 2 year visa. She was held by US Immigration for over 12 hours and then deported with a 5 year ban. Her crime was that she flew Qatar airline. That was the red flag. The ignorant immigration officials wanted to know why she would fly from Nigeria to Qatar instead of through Europe. They wanted to know her contacts Qatar. She said it was due to cheaper ticket price. They searched her phones, looked at all her contacts and even called her job in Nigeria. After all the humiliation they said she had two choices , she could either go back to Nigeria or be put in detention in the US while they continue with extreme vetting. This all happened yesterday in our New United States. Please when traveling check your phones, your messages, your internet. Don't take unknown packages or letters for people and if you can avoid certain airlines please. I am not trying to alarm you JFK is now like a war zone with lawyers and protesters on standby. If you have a green card , you better apply for citizenship as the green card is almost worthless
.

This story appears incomplete. CBP will not simply deport you because you flew on a different airline if you have a valid visa, did not lie to obtain the visa and do not have incriminating evidence on your phone that you intend to stay in the US or work while visiting... no need for the panic. If you're not from the 7 countries on the list, you have no problem at the POE.

1. Had it been this was his first visa interview, the VO would have factored in the stammering as a symptom of appearing for a US Interview for the first time i.e. he is nervous. But this is his fourth visa interview.

2. I know we all make mistakes, but making a mistake about how much you earn, is a red flag.

3. When asked why you are going to the US, this is an opportunity to clearly explain why for example, I will be attending a conference on X because it will go a long way in helping me achieve Y in my Z place of work or further my career profession in A.

4. The VO has implied that your husband used an agent to fill the form.

5. When he reapplies, he should use the "why were you rejected portion of his form to explain himself".

All the best.

I thought you stated your point for a fact, now I know it is just your opinion.

Come home and make Nigeria great again.
Must I vote? They declared him winner abi did PDP rig it for him?

The americans voted. We heard winner. Even after hearing his campaign promise. He still won

If he cancels birth tourism, we face canada or Brazil. Shikena

This would be nigh impossible to stop - unless you change the constitution (which is another matter entirely). The other option would be to pass a rule that blocks anyone pregnant from coming to the US (which would be challenged in court and most likely found unconstitutional). I just can't see how that works. So for now... happy birthing i guess.

Trump Executive orders has been Overturned & suspended by a Federal high court Judge. And the Department of Homeland Security says its Business as usual since the ban has been overturned for now, that they have reinstated everyones Visas who are due to travel from those 7 countries before the ban and that Airlines Can continue to fly all of them. And Airlines has begin to Fly Refugees, immigrants & Non immigrants who has valid papers and Visas to travel to the USA. Trump has been shamed!!

Hello everyone ,

Am new to this platform and it seems my case Is a bit different if anyone can help undecided. Information on going here is very useful well done to the contributors!!!

I applied for B1/B2 visa on the grounds of going for leisure holiday a month ago and was denied. Probably because I wasn't in a professional job. My reason therefore has changed and want to apply for medical visa to birth my baby in the USA. Will I be denied again?!
Any suggestions? Contributons ? Advices? It will be very much appreciated. Many thanks! Waiting on your responses smiley

Thanks for your advice, I've decided against them anyway as their baggage allowance is just 1 pic of 23kg and none for infants(it's a Hell No from me). These European airline are usually quite pricey comparatively though.

rigel1:

I strongly suggest that you be careful with an Middle Eastern / Arab Nation airline. This may just be a temporary thing, but with Oga Trump you just never know - if possible, fly the European airlines!

Hi. It's just the first week u pay $267 (inclusive of $50 which is refundable at the end of ur stay), subsequent weeks u pay $217 per week, and on the 31st day, u start paying $185 per week because they'll return $31.50 tax for the first 30 days you've stayed. That's $31.50 × 5 weeks = $157.50.
So in short, if u stay more than 5 weeks, ur average weekly rate is actually $185 NOT $267 or $217 or $270.
And they refund u d $50 u pay when u check in initially.

I hope u get it.

Cheers.

Thanks I get it, I guess this info is for in town suites

So far Department of Homeland security has stopped implementing Trump ban, & Refugees and US visa holders from those 7 countries has started travelling normal, means he has been shamed. what kind of shame do u need again when a presidential order was reversed or overturned by a federal judge?
