This is erroneous. I thought its a 50 naira charge for every deposit.
How can I pay 50 for every 1000 naira I receive in my account?

Fidelity don't have hidden charges, used Fidelity and firstbank but, Firstbank charges are driving me nuts.

they have charge me 2 times this week, 350 and 50 making it N400 and i have less than 20,000 in my account, is obvious i will stop using that account, this is not what that law said about stamp duty, the bank have been engaging in a dubious charges hiding under the umbrella of CBN. and
is only 2 transaction i made.

diamond banks' stamp duty is scary,they charge me stamp duty almost every week when i don't even get any credit to my account

Range #150 to #900 twice at times Thrice Daily. Haba, What happened nah. I Called Call centre, no headway. I just tweet them. Nah to close D account sure pass.

Its was even sweetboiy thread that Gingered me.

My cousin is my account officer, have call him. He still dey sweet talk me not to close it down.

P.S No transactions on my account for Weeks, I want to setup enough proofs. They are still deducting.

honestly speaking, I felt like crying when I got the text... I have transfer kobo. I will close the account first thing tomorrow morning

You're wrong. It's 50 Naira for every inflow from a third party of up to a thousand naira. How many times did your account receive funds from other people since the last time you were charged.
All previous governments knew about Stamp duty, but only your beloved Change government implemented it. Don't blame the banks, KEEP CALM AND ENJOY YOUR CHANGE.

see, anytime I received payment from a third party, they do minus N50 for stamp duty. Am not complaining about the CBN stuff.. But while are they still charging me again?

I had same issue.
But when I went to their bank, the service rep showed me my transactions and I noticed they haven't been taking the charges for some months now.
What they are doing is taking the charge for the backlogs of transactions done.
It's really annoying that they allowed it accumulate.

Request for your statement of account if you are in doubt.

after touring almost all of the bank.... there is no better bank in Nigeria that will serve u the way u want.... it might be good for few months of registering... later d change like chameleon..... so.... keep ur money in the house.... shikena

They might be charging you for different things but stamp duty is for deposits in your account.

diamond banks are thieves after deducting 900naira from my account two days latter i got another debit alert of 350niara again for same stamp duty charge

if u look well u av a curent acnt. also u av nt bin charge sinx december dats y it was colected nw. dont forgt cbn charges for any amount paid or transfer to ur acnt. rmbr to always tel pple who wil pay money to ur acnt to use ur name in place of depositor dat way d duty stamp charges wil b off...

They also charged me 800 naira this morning for stamp duty. It really pissed me off
