Osemigho:Nice tips man. Yea I applied to other schools tho equally competitive....I.e. UBC and Toronto. It's good to spread it tentacles by gathering information of Express entry. I know it's favoured masters holders, law graduates and people with ACCA certification that are not so old...early thirties. Schooling in Canada also gives a good opportunity to secure PR visa so u keep d embers burning on both fronts |

@Mjazzy. I am a Proactive person, but for your case, I choose to be reactive. "Why should you hire an agent to boost your profile when am sure you know fully well you don't meet the requirements". Many people that use "Registered" agents already have what is takes, and just need a professional touch. I dislike people looking for shortcuts! The way forward is to get an immigration lawyer to help you draft a letter explaining to CIC your mistakes, this is way beyond my scope. Contact Peter Loblack, although, he specialises in American immigration, he may be able to help. Send him a message on his Facebook page. Really sorry. |

Folaroyal:Thanks for the insight. Assuming I opt for the first option, is it possible for me to start working months before the start date of my programme. |

Will probably look for the address and share but they confirmed I could apply while in the US with a visiting visa. They even advised on methods I can apply... Online... Paper... But not by mail/post because i am from a country that requires biometrics! On a second note; you may wish to share you profile and reasons for refusals... Guys can just be able to help. Regards |

It's unfortunate that you had to fall victim... So sad i must say! Meanwhile... Stick to the earlier advise and it will likely be fine...it has worked for some.... No guarantees though!!! Regards |

Good Morning All, Ive been a silent follower of this thread after I submitted my application for studies on October. I must say you all are doing a nice job especially for experienced member providing others with solutions and useful information. However, I got this mail few days ago from CIC, I have reviewed your application and documents you submitted in its support. Subsection 11(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act provides that a foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or any other document required by the Regulations. The visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act. I have concerns that you have not fulfilled the requirement put upon you by section 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, which states: 16(1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires. In the current application package, you submitted a bank statement purportedly issued by Zenith Bank that has been determined to be fraudulent Please note that if it is found that you have engaged in misrepresentation in submitting your application, you may be found to be inadmissible under section 40(1)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. A finding of such inadmissibility would render you inadmissible to Canada for a period of five years according to section 40(2)(a): 40(1) A permanent resident or a foreign national is inadmissible for misrepresentation (a) for directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act 40(2) The following provisions govern subsection (1): (a) the permanent resident or the foreign national continues to be inadmissible for misrepresentation for a period of five years following, in the case of a determination outside Canada, a final determination of inadmissibility under subsection (1) or, in the case of determination in Canada, the date the removal order is enforced. I would like to give you an opportunity to respond to this information. I will afford you fifteen (15) days from the date of this letter to make any representations in this regard. Please use the address noted on this letter for all correspondence, and clearly indicate your file number. If you do not respond to this request within the time outlined above, your application will be assessed based on the information available, which will likely result in a refusal. Thank you for the interest you have shown in Canada. Please experts in the house, advice me on what to do. Im confused seeing this email... Thanks |

Eraytee:Our desperation is sure making a lot of us get into avoidable troubles...!!! Consulting agents already marked by cic... Using forged documents and all... I have seen loads of such lately.... Kilode!?? @ Eratee... When responding to him/her pls let other people know that a part of the reasons why Canada visa takes this long is due to our corrupt nature and then they take extra care and time to fish out the bad eggs... Most embassies may not..... But Canada will!! Regards |

| Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by chigrad: 9:20am On Feb 09, 2017 |
Well I think u should know d documents that were submitted by your agents first, before u can defend yourself. And if a fraudulent document was submitted by them without your knowledge, I think u should involve a lawyer. I stand to be corrected Mjazzy: |

If only we can change the mentality that the V.O's have had concerning nigerians documents, it will save a whole lot of time. Def the 17week will reduce drastically.. Most embassies may not..... | Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Eraytee: 10:21am On Feb 09, 2017 |
Folaroyal:well said bro, i still dont get that aspect very well why pple would just want to be in trouble, like u said the more reason they would dedicate 18-20wks reviewing our applications, they know the situation of Nigeria and they are aware of peoples desperation to leave the country. cox i dont know how someone can prove its innocent when u submit such doc. this is my advice though for any1 reading this, pls when it comes to financial docs DO NOT SUBMIT A FRAUDULENT ONE if they wont vet other docs but SOA is just too high a risk to take. |
