1: I know the effort and that feeling after negative response. Sorry. Just keep sending well crafted ones. Also, I think your email should briefly talk about your proposed research topic, in one stand alone paragraph, while you attach SOP to the email. That will make the email less overwhleming to read and less strenuous for you to compose.

Did you apply to other schools?

2: 4 applications submitted and under review. praying for positive response.

3: lolz. Checking my cards for more options. Anyone here should endeavour to do same at our leisure time, especially waiters of admission and visa decision. Gathering more knowledge reduces the pressure of waiting. I know more of the process here than there. Seeking more knowledge. They say readers are leaders. Lol. I no fit run leave this house. 2 years and counting..cool

4: that is the spirit. It will by God's grace. cool
Nice tips man. Yea I applied to other schools tho equally competitive....I.e. UBC and Toronto. It's good to spread it tentacles by gathering information of Express entry. I know it's favoured masters holders, law graduates and people with ACCA certification that are not so old...early thirties. Schooling in Canada also gives a good opportunity to secure PR visa so u keep d embers burning on both fronts

@Mjazzy. I am a Proactive person, but for your case, I choose to be reactive. "Why should you hire an agent to boost your profile when am sure you know fully well you don't meet the requirements". Many people that use "Registered" agents already have what is takes, and just need a professional touch.

I dislike people looking for shortcuts!

The way forward is to get an immigration lawyer to help you draft a letter explaining to CIC your mistakes, this is way beyond my scope.

Contact Peter Loblack, although, he specialises in American immigration, he may be able to help.

Send him a message on his Facebook page.

Really sorry.

Nice one and many congrats!
I am not certain that Concordia U will have any intake for your program until fall...
It really depends on what you want though!
1. If you want to enter immediately... You only need to tell them at the PoE that your approval was delayed, hence you can't start until May or June but you need to process your deferral and conclude payments/enrollment.... They can't turn you back! But what will you be doing till fall?

2. If you choose to stay.... Process your deferral from Nigeria and resume at the next intake period. ...
In any case, you will extend your permit as at when required inside Canada.... If you need to!

Bro... The main of the iss is that you have your TRV!!!... Pick your permit at the PoE when you desire.... Anytime within the 'Must enter by date'
Best wishes.

Thanks for the insight. Assuming I opt for the first option, is it possible for me to start working months before the start date of my programme.

With this profile, I will advise you join the Express Entry group and be reading once in a while. With little have read on the group thread, I have come to realize that you can enter canny with this profile as PR and not wait till after masters study.

You neighbour can't be displaying small kolo and you will say he no concern you. You go run when hin bring cutlass come your side. Canny is touting her EE now, tap into it, except that is not your ultimate goal.
World economy is connected. If canny neighbour act funny, it might impact her so bad that she will adjust her smile towards immigration. cool

Bros, my ultimate goal is to get a PR.... I will join the thread asap... Thanks, you the best!!!

I will not relent in my effort to enter canny.
Please who did you send the inquiry mail to.
smiley ... Thanks Sir.
I've tried checking now but can't find it saved on my phone... Will probably look for the address and share but they confirmed I could apply while in the US with a visiting visa.
They even advised on methods I can apply... Online... Paper... But not by mail/post because i am from a country that requires biometrics!
On a second note; you may wish to share you profile and reasons for refusals... Guys can just be able to help.

Good Evening fellow forumites, I have a very big issue i will like you guys to help me thrash honestly and also help me with suggestions on the best possible actions to take on this issue.

Based on your submissions, I have concerns that you have omitted to declare that you used a compensated representative to facilitate the submission of your application. Your application contains evidence that it was facilitated by the same person or entity as many other applications received by this office. Based on our research this is a compensated representative. I therefore have concerns that you misrepresented this information either through omission or through failing to indicate that the representative was compensated.

Please note that if it is found that you have engaged in misrepresentation in submitting your application, you may be found to be inadmissible under section 40(1)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. A finding of such inadmissibility would render you inadmissible to Canada for a period of five years according to section 40(2)(a):

i don't mind a visa refusal but my fear is the 5 year Ban.

Gurus in the house please your advise and counsel will be highly appreciated. Although am also going to forward this to the agent but i wil like to have an outside opinion first.

Thanks

We discussed... You will notice that your request may hardly get a response from guys here... Cos it has been sounded times without count... Avoid these evil doers!!!
It's unfortunate that you had to fall victim... So sad i must say!
Meanwhile... Stick to the earlier advise and it will likely be fine...it has worked for some.... No guarantees though!!!

Good Morning All,

Ive been a silent follower of this thread after I submitted my application for studies on October. I must say you all are doing a nice job especially for experienced member providing others with solutions and useful information.

However, I got this mail few days ago from CIC,

I have reviewed your application and documents you submitted in its support. Subsection 11(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act provides that a foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or any other document required by the Regulations. The visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act.

I have concerns that you have not fulfilled the requirement put upon you by section 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, which states:

16(1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires.

In the current application package, you submitted a bank statement purportedly issued by Zenith Bank that has been determined to be fraudulent

40(1) A permanent resident or a foreign national is inadmissible for misrepresentation (a) for directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act

40(2) The following provisions govern subsection (1): (a) the permanent resident or the foreign national continues to be inadmissible for misrepresentation for a period of five years following, in the case of a determination outside Canada, a final determination of inadmissibility under subsection (1) or, in the case of determination in Canada, the date the removal order is enforced.

I would like to give you an opportunity to respond to this information. I will afford you fifteen (15) days from the date of this letter to make any representations in this regard. Please use the address noted on this letter for all correspondence, and clearly indicate your file number. If you do not respond to this request within the time outlined above, your application will be assessed based on the information available, which will likely result in a refusal.

Thank you for the interest you have shown in Canada.

Please experts in the house, advice me on what to do. Im confused seeing this email...

Thanks

Mjazzy:
Good Evening fellow forumites, I have a very big issue i will like you guys to help me thrash honestly and also help me with suggestions on the best possible actions to take on this issue.

Specifically July, 2016 , i applied for PGC programme in Canada, my applications were filled with many complications and i had already given up hope considering the fact that , it's PGC and there are many commas in my application based on self evaluation. I kept checking my application status online after several unsuccessful attempt to link the application online. Lest i forget, i used an Agent called GVC(Genuine Visa Consult), Please beware of these guys, they are just after your money and they charge crazy fees for packaging rubbish and have also put me on a knife edge. Now this evening i received a mail from CIC, with some damning accusations and implication on my application. From their statement i stand a chance of been ban for 5 years from entering Canada if found guilty. THIS IS THE MAIL BELOW;

I have concerns that you misrepresented your (or your financial sponsor’s) current employment and the source of funding for your proposed studies in Canada. You did so both in your answers on the application form and through the submission of fraudulent employment and/or financial sponsorship documents.

Furthermore, pursuant to paragraph 10(2)(c.1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations:

10(2) The application shall, unless otherwise provided by these Regulations

(c.1) if the applicant is represented in connection with the application, include the name, postal address and telephone number, and fax number and electronic mail address, if any, of any person or entity — or a person acting on its behalf — representing the applicant

Regards,

The above Mail was what greeted me this evening, Please who have experienced or encountered such before and How did you respond to the queries, i don't mind a visa refusal but my fear is the 5 year Ban.

Gurus in the house please your advise and counsel will be highly appreciated. Although am also going to forward this to the agent but i wil like to have an outside opinion first.

Thanks

well said bro, i still dont get that aspect very well why pple would just want to be in trouble, like u said the more reason they would dedicate 18-20wks reviewing our applications, they know the situation of Nigeria and they are aware of peoples desperation to leave the country. cox i dont know how someone can prove its innocent when u submit such doc. this is my advice though for any1 reading this, pls when it comes to financial docs DO NOT SUBMIT A FRAUDULENT ONE if they wont vet other docs but SOA is just too high a risk to take.

Why because some of the sponsorship details are too big even after compressing them with available tools.
