Elrufai is a bad leader and a religious bigot. How on earth do u compensate Fulani herdsmen who are actually the murderers in this context. I remember the last time I beheld this man eyeball to eyeball during fuel subsidy saga cum occupy naija in Maitama , Abuja...I concluded in my heart that the man is a motherfucker. After all his failures as FCT minister, some people still thought it wise to vote him as governor of a state. Until these crop of politicians are eliminated and sent to the other world and coercively mould our attitude towards Nation building, the change expected is this country is a wishful thinking. 3 Likes |

nicolosam: You are merely voicing out the media propaganda being circulated against El Rufai without reasoning and questioning. I watched the interview and heard all his explanations (I doubt if you did the same). Compensation was provided by the FG under the Jonathan era and ppl were paid; he inherited the unpaid balance of the money from which he paid some of the foreign nomadic herdsmen threatening to take revenge on southern community for the atrocities committed against them in 2011 - in order to break the circle of reprisals and counter reprisals. He further explained the money was and is still available to anyone with verifiable claims - he said even presently, a church is being screened for similar compensation. From the above one can easily appreciate how the media twisted the story to make out that he was biased in payment of compensation and in his handling of the crisis. You can also even take example from the heading of this very thread and observe how it has been phrased and twisted in order to make it as if he heaped all the blame on the traditional leaders of southern Kaduna; where as in fact he fact he only said some of them, while giving example of such ruler who was able to recover 4 rifles from 4 policemen killed by his kinsmen but refusing to disclose the identity of those involved - this was why he said some of them were involved. 1 Like |

I think this governor doesn't know what governance is. Not surprised though, that is typical attitude of Nigerian politicians always playing blame game without fixing the problem. Mr Governor please govern or quit if the problem is bigger than you. |

I'm not thrilled by instant magical results as much as I'm by foundations, I'm internally joyful because we finally have a none quick fix President who do not fix quickly for the next election but for the next generations E.g To end over 20 years old blood spilling in Southern KD he approved the building of a military base to tame their blood sucking madness. Won't Christianees people appreciate this ? 2. To end Boko Haramic insanity, PMB's army took over their Sambisa enclave and turned it into a training ground...... Jubilation in NE 3. To empower Innoson and future local car manufacturers, he ended smuggling fairly cars from land borders ....South East kwenu !!! Easterngote is born and empowered for the future 4. to free more budgeted fund for public use , he killed Budget stuffing and buried it. NASSrats how market? Now they want 2.3% of the entire revenue...That's madness 5. To recover our stolen monies, he planted fr. Magu 6. To tighten and sanitize our custom, he sowed fr.Hamid himself 7. To alleviate hunger, glories are being given to local products more than ever before. Farming has become a profitable and honorable career one can be proud of once more. All foundations 8. He completely destroyed the agenda of oil cabals who held is hostage and at their mercies playing is like chess game in the past .......To be continue |

Agadinho: I doubt if you live in Kaduna for saying "This short is typically doing nothing at all in kaduna state" because even a blind person can testity EL Rufai is doing great job for Kaduna. What he has achieved in 2 years, none of his predecessor has done that in 8 years. No amount of hate propaganda can overshadow the man's performance. 1 Like |

mfm04622:So according to d law how does a gov stop armed robbers ? By paying them off ? The guy is doing nothing until he has arrested the killers and prosecute them. not by begging them. This is common with northern govs. the case of Bridget's killing in Kano in broad daylight comes to mind. Kano state attorney general asked the courts to set them free. It doesn't happen down south. |
Re: Southern Kaduna : ''traditional Rulers Are To Blame For Killings'' - El-rufai by mfm04622: 6:34pm On Feb 09, 2017 |
Max24: You seriously think the ONLY victims in this STUPID crisis are the Southern Kaduna people? Kachia is in Southern Kaduna, have you heard of any crisis there? Why not? Don't we have Fulani herders there? How can you classify someone that lost ALL he had as a robber? Yes, I believe inability or lack o Political will of various govt to bring perpetrators of violence to justice contributes a lot to insecurity in Nigeria. This is because victims believe they need to "protect" themselves by preemptive strikes and the predators have no fear they will b brought to book. However, El-Rufai has said that will no longer be the case. So what are you still complaining about? We are not discussing Kano here. If you don't like what happened in Kano, don't just complain, seek legal advice to see how those heartless murderers can be brought to book. |
