elrony: There's nothing truthful about that post. Fellani's substitution is not the reason why our attack has been eye an eyesore all season. It's not the reason why from Ibra, Rash, Martial, Pogba, Mata, down to Mhiki, has been missing goals more than oloshos miss their periods. If those guys knew how to score, they would have ended that first-half by at least 3-0. How many matches now have our attack let us down? Abeg, bringing in Fellani has no bearing on why we missed goals in the match. |

I like the way Martial plays his football. Ibrahimovic was poor today. At the end it was a good team performance. The way we miss chances or fail to make a quality final ball is a problem. Mkhtaryan was the major culprit. Had a glorious chance to make it 2-0 before half time. In the second half his final balls were lacking the perfection to give our forwards the scoring advantage. One time he needed to just put it in the air in the far post for Ibrahimovic to head in freely, he played a grounder which was easily intercepted. 1 Like |

It hurts me, really hurts me that Mourinho has all but confirmed that Zlatan will be here next season. Got me wondering, are United now prioritizing jersey sales and superstars acquisitions over actual results that can win us trophies? Where are we really headed to if a 37-year-old slow and profligate striker that's unbenchable is going to lead our attack next season against the likes of Ramos and Co if we eventually make UCL? Does Mourinho not actually sit back and rewatch our matches and see that Zlatan's got go? What love portion did Zlatan give Mourinho. I'll be the happiest motherphucker alive if 2 weeks after season ends, Zlatan cops an 8 month injury ruling him out of next season and forcing United to get a quality striker. As regard the match, apart from the lapse in concentration in the second-hand, and our profligacy in front of the goal, the match was a joy to watch. Pogba was my MOTM. The central defence is where we are mostly covered. Bailly and Smalling are stronger in the air, but they are slow in getting the ball forward. Bailly is over confident with the ball and unnecessarily keep it for long by turning around. Their concentration was a problem in the last 25 minutes of the match. Jones and Rojo get the ball out faster, play higher on the pitch and tend to drive the ball forward. But they haven't the height of Smallling and Bailly. Despite this they have not been caught napping in area duels. Jones and Smalling are comfortable playing from both sides of the central defence. Jones has actually been used out of position mostly. On the other hand Baily and Rojo play one side. It is a good thing the club has four of them, but it is bad for the players. Four players for two positions. |
