Austin and Tpako. Oya sheath your swords. Biko its too early.

Mspapi had lied and she acknowledged her lie and regrets it. TWoods had given a sensible advise from the get go, that she should go on holiday and come back then go and have her baby, so why go on and on and on?

The reason for this forum is not to encourage things like this because it is giving a dog a bad name and hanging it. The average Nigerian has no idea you can apply for a medical visa and have a baby in the US. The urban legend is hide your pregnancy, if not they will deny you. The op shared that school of thought until she came across this forum and that is what we should be known for, not using one lie to cover up another lie.

TWoods, you need to understand nairaland is a Nigerian thread and we are deeply religious about everything albeit for some wrong reasons but you need to be tolerant about that. We believe oluwa is involved in every facet of our lives including visa application and poe, and you can't change that. So please be a little more tolerant.

Thank you ma... me sef dey find favor. grin

Absolutely right in the highlighted. Apart from getting affordable health care it is good to also consider the time it will take to get all documentations when booking your return leg and if you have to return fast fast to avoid ticket re-booking in this high exchange rate season.

Shawbabe:
Oh and ssn they told will take 10 days. I think it came like 5 days later. All this is possible if you're in a city with fast process. This was part of my choice for still sticking with Atl this time around. Oh and I forgot to mention, I opted for an induction at 38 weeks coz I was tired of waiting for nature lol grin. So it helped me plan accordingly coz I already knew when baby will arrive. But this is me oh....I'm weird like that.

Please we should stop quarreling, she came in and said she had regrets for lying to the Vo if she was in Dis forum earlier she would have learnt. Attacking is not the best. Alot of Nigerians are not aware u can tell a Vo u r going to give birth and you Would be granted. I told my friend I did it she was in shock and said people say u won't be given . She is not the only one Alot are not aware and she already said she wasn't aware. No one is encouraging anyone to lie but let's be mild. It is not impossible for her to find favour. Jesus died for our sins and if she confesses and prays nothing is impossible. Please let's stop the quarrel we are all adults. Have a blessed day you all.

Lmao @ stupid idiot. That's probably the only thing that caught my eye. We Nigerians can't have a healthy argument without being sentimental about it. This was exactly why there was a round 2 some days back.

You think you are having a healthy debate with someone, next thing they call you names like idiot . And you're like wtf? Where did that come from? cheesy

This is very handy information at the moment as I have been worried and concerned

Please is it possible to get all documentations(birth certificate, SSN, And Passport) done within one week after birth?

thank you

Don't know about other cities but Houston yes

Pick up your birth certificate on your way home upon discharge from the hospital. Schedule your passport visit downtown too for the next day or the day after if you are exhausted from pushing

Go to downtown pick up same day or next

Everything ready by day 3 of discharge aka day 5 of the baby's life.

That's how iv done it for my two babies

I planned leaving with DW and LO 3 weeks after child birth but at the moment we are one day behind schedule as LO is yet to arrive as expected cheesy

To be honest, 3 weeks is more than enough time to get the documents. Just to pray baby arrives in good time.

So why do you need a visa to the United States then? cheesy You're a joke dude.

Its absolutely nauseating to see how dishonesty has become so endemic in the Nigerian society that speaking against it has become equivalent to "forming saint". I wish i could take back all those hours wasted praying for Nigeria.
U are talking about morality? when u were given a non immigrant visa to travel to the US,did u tell them u will go there and stay? And u went and overstayed your visa and lived in the US as an illegal alien and I know u must have worked with someone's Resident permit or work illegally to better your life before u got yours, now u find it against the law because a woman didnt disclose her pregnancy the way u lied during your own interview. Sometimes u think that people are fools, i am in the same abroad as u are and i know how the system works. Most of the people that lives in abroad doesnt disclose that they will stay back illegally after their visa expired. Some seek asylum with the name of some warring countries to get status just to better their lives & future,. Even those VO's knows exactly what every woman is up to, once u come for your visas . U are just that type of greedy people that likes to climb the tree alone and take the ladder with them so that no one could climb and i know if u have your way u would have stopped birth tourism. Stop Using your Due Process level to voice your anger towards birthing in US & castigate people,,.,asshole!!

I don't get why you keep referring to God as "god".I have no issues with your over conceited attitude but the habit of writing God in small letter is what exasperates me

TWoods:

Frauds whose "god" has obviously abandoned them to a life of misery in one of the world's most corrupt places on earth. Balaam also obtained "favor" too...

Thanks u Very much for this, i said also that no one encourages people to Lie but the deed has been done and the woman wants to give her child a future as others did, then why should i discourage her.She must surely find favour and succeed in her adventure whether that hater(Twood) likes it or not.

What is wrong remain wrong, no matter how you choose to paint it.

However, I noted a point which i dont think it applies to all, not all of us see a better life in US and i dont think i would ever leave my life in naija to struggle to live under falsehood in the US or begin again, some of us are enjoying life in naija.

Back to my waka pass mode.

Una too much oh. grin.
My understanding of his use of the small letter "g" is referencing the fact that it can't be God with the capital "G" that people pray to after consciously doing wrong. TWoods' posts has sarcasm and satire all over it. I don't think it's for disrespect.

Enjoying better life o. DH has a GC but he is not willing to relocate permanently for now. I am not too, at least not in the near future anyway. Not all of us are suffering here. If I am making good money here, why do I need to go and work my ass off just to live an average life over there. We all want blue kpali for different reasons. To each, his own. Make I siddon dey watch, before person go waka pass my corner again.
