Imagine justify the conquest of Muhammad and early Muslims with ancient practice saying it was a norm to conquer and keep slaves, how i wish these people were among those conquered.

And which history book are you reading, vikings were not acting like barbarians? I have watched a series movie "vikings" they acted like barbarians fighting civilized nations.

Dont egg him on. because he is this close to mking comments like that regarding the Quran (irrespective of the tafsir interpretations including the one you believe in), while you stay on and egg him because of the sunni/shia divide.
