People keep talking about "go and fund email", please kindly note, you don't need to wait for that email before you proceed funding.... |
| Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by badtboi: 7:07pm On Mar 07, 2017 |
futurewise11:i think there is nothing wrong with waiting for the funding email as it usually arrives from a few hours after to a few days after the interview but given the fact that some people can still be refused after a week or max two weeks waiting for this period to go by before funding will still be a good idea unless of course you have very little time left for processing because getting your money back after funding and then your application is refused can be stressful unless of course one plans to reapply. |

Kelvinpam:I guess so. How are you and your side? It is necessary I give back to this place since we are on break;and this place is like my Jerusalem. I remembered my first question here years back. It is well with us all. Shalom |
| Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by honourableseyi: 7:27pm On Mar 07, 2017 |
badtboi:It is actually not necessary going by the volatile situation of forex in the country. You can't get your account funded immediately you apply for it, unless you want to use aboki+dorm account. Even if you have funded your account and got rejection, that is not the end. Bring it on here and I can categorically tell you that; by the grace of God, you will get your visa with the right appeal. Presently, embassy is now giving deadline date as to the time you must submit your funding confirmation or they reject the visa application once the person can't meet up with the date. But if it is someone that want to use aboki to fund, then waiting might not be a problem since he can quickly get that done. Shalom |

badtboi:Valid point raised here. But remember sometime people wait till eternity and when the mail refuse to drop to felt bugged. I felt if you fund and your are refuse you can reapply and worst case scenario your money is there to cash if you decide otherwise. |
| Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by badtboi: 7:56pm On Mar 07, 2017 |
futurewise11:i agree with you as well at least people now know what to do in either situation when the should i fund or not fund question comes along. |

| Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by sirheed2: 12:01am On Mar 08, 2017 |
badtboi:Do u mean, from the green quote of ur response, that most visa reject mostly come between this period one to two weeks after interview and anything after 2weeks is visa issuance.? And how authentic is this info or is it based on observation from this thread. Please clarify this @gurus in the house. |
| Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by badtboi: 12:53am On Mar 08, 2017 |
sirheed2:just so you know even an issued visa can still be revoked/refused after issuance if new evidence comes to light pertaining your application same applies to all applications regardless of it being a week old or more so after 2 weeks of processing does not guarantee visa issuance rather the odds are increased but still subject to certain decisions rejection after a few days or one week - comes from the Nigerian embassy probably due to poor interview, unable to convince the visa officer that you are indeed a student so there are doubts as to your study intentions, fraudulent documents, enrolment deadline, inadequate time for processing your application etc rejection after two weeks or more - usually comes from the aliens authority / auslanderbehorde though if you are lucky you get asked additional questions for clarification on certain issues but usually due to the embassy report on your application even though it was still forwarded, finance related issues etc if rejected after this extended processing period by the Nigerian embassy then it is likely failure to fund after a set deadline and not withdrawing your application or some new information. These reasons are not limited to the above but just examples of what may have occurred. |

Good day every1, I just stumbled across this thread yest... I am currently undergoing my NYSC, I have an undergraduate degree in pharmacy and I want to do my masters in health science or related field as I couldn't find masters in pharmacy, I used daad website for my search. I want to apply to TMU, I have a cgpa of 4.9/7..please wat do you guys think when converted to German cgpa? If I want to resume January 2018.. which application should I go for winter or summer..I'm quite confused about the summer/ winter starting dates? For the English tests, I read here I could obtain a letter from the ministry of education , is that applicable to TMU or would the toefel/iets increase my chances of admission? I would appreciate every contributions please. |

Morning Bro! Read the first page of this thread you will see the link to search for schools and courses. Depending on the English requirements of the school/course you decide to apply for, writing an English test might be waved but based on past experiences writing that IELTS/TOEFL will increase your options in terms of schools and courses. Read few pages back for CGPA conversion to German equivalent although I think your CGPA is fine. Germany has Summer and Winter semesters. If you are targeting Jan 18, that's summer 18 and you should start application process from Sept/Oct this year. Cheers |
