In fact, you just said my mind and straight to the point. Another part of op's feelings, is that he is too egocentric hence his feelings over who he thinks he is or how he feels his employer/s sees him.
True. Thought so too. Egocentric is the word.

My take is that if what you typed is part of your famous grammar, you are finished. undecided undecided undecided

Then analyze the grammar for us to see your own expertise. There is a place where op talked about having novels to his credit, and he's ready to post links. Will you post your links for us to judge, Mr grammar?

My friend sharrap. Your grammatical structure and choice of words is piss poor. BTW, which kain English be the below:

"An hospital"

"I quitted when the ovation was loudest"

"Since that I would be busy at night and in the morning, I use that period to shop"

Keep forming Professor. You have delusions of grandeur.

The problem with fools is that when they know nothing, they think they know everything.

Hospital can take article "an" according to some grammar analysts. Will you say "a hour", or " an hour"? Is best for you to be silent when you have no idea about how words are used in some spheres.

Is "quitted" not a past tense verb? Is "loudest" not an adjective?

"Since that I would be busy..." Tell us what is wrong here, oga. "Would" in the above means 'usually'. "Use" in the above means what he constantly does. You were expecting him to use present continuous verb, abi? It's understandable, you too want to be noticed. We have noticed you.

Using a wrong tense. Post full of pride and innuendos.

The first law of Power:

NEVER OUTSHINE THE MASTER

Always make those above you feel comfortably superior. In your desire to please and impress them, do not go too far in displaying your talents or you might accomplish the opposite - inspire fear and insecurity. Make your masters appear more brilliant than they are and you will attain the heights of power. ( Excerpts from the book, "48 Laws of Power" ).

After your two examples, I must say you need this most. When it comes to power, outshining the masters is the worst mistake of all
My thoughts exactly...

Errrrrm. . . My friend sharrraaaaaaaaap!

There is no such thing as "an hospital" because the h is not silent.

"Since that I would be busy". Which kain colo phrasing be that? Since I would be busy. . .

"I quitted" - you cannot conversant with modern spoken English to say that. The deluded OP probably picked that up from some 18th century text he was reading. It is as redundant as some of the grammar used in the Old King James version.

Finally mugu, this is Nairaland, an informal setting where I yarn any way I want, however there is nothing incorrect about "Who is administering". . . . .No be me dey claim English Professor, nor do I have delusions of grandeur that I am better than my bosses because I purportedly speak better English. The irony of the original post is that it was littered with gbagaun and "colo" sentence structure. The haughtiness of the hospital porter is laughable, and he has a persecution complex which is mildly alarming.

Mr Okada man, English is a basic skill that everyone must have. It is not a skill particularly fundamental to the role of hospital porter, so I don't know why the OP is feeling funky.

Me want to be noticed for English? Sorry mate, I don't seek validation from NL, much less for English. I have several skills that feed me handsomely. So ogbeni, jump back on your Okada and do what your boss employs you to do, Mr Okada man.

I think you are under an illusion of grandeur. You have a feeling you are smart. But indeed you may not be as smart as you think. It's the wrongest thing to think a boss who remarked, even if in passing, about your superior presentation skills, would now be thinking of bringing you down, when all he needs to "bring you down" is to merely fire you. And hire someone else.

If he found work for you between 10am and 4pm, it could be for a host of other reasons, and for nothing related to your paranoia. If he thought the DSTV needed to be shut down, there could be a thousand other reasons for it and not for the hunt you think.

You need to watch it. Sooner those feelings you harbour will creep out and in no time will become perceptible to your boss. You should know that once that happens, insubordination is the interpretation. I'll suggest you simply do your thing. Do your job and don't entertain those feelings of greatness, which, frankly, ain't even great anyways. Concentrate on honing your skills and not on who's after your phantom glory.

In other words, stay focused, oga. smiley
Wow! Nicely done
You have my respect!

You better shed this market woman mentality if you want to thrive in an office environment.

Unless you are focused on a future of selling fruits in the market, you better find some mentor who will teach you how to think and to behave. Otherwise all the stress to put you through university would have been wasted.

You also need to come up with more coherent insults. Most of the people talking with you are accomplished professionals. Their first cars were late model vehicles. Cursing people who have suvs with Keke napep talk only shows your limited horizons and provides an avenue for humor.

If I was to curse Ibime I would say something like your financial models will fail and you will cost your company ten million pounds.

That's a curse one can get behind. Not all this mindless talk of Keke napep.
