But if I start with a menial job in LLC (labor zone I guess), I must complete 2 yrs before leaving for a better offer?

Sure, once you secure the job, you will be issued employment visa for minimum 2years contract.

Maintain good relationship with Ur employer, keep searching, finish Ur probation period, give them the necessary 30days notice when you get a beta offer and.....

Some very wicked organisations, they capitalize on the penalty charges that you MUST pay and when you don't pay,some even go as far as alleging some negative charges on you,which could lead to your ban and also paying some charges.
When you want to leave an organisation, it is always very important that you look very well before you leap.Be careful and Wise.
Find out those that have left the coy,how did they leave safely without ban?In this place,one size doesn't fit all when it comes to resigning.Just be wise.

Who advised you to apply for Job while in Nigeria? Better when you are on ground here. So work in getting your 3 months visit visa.

Local experience matters alot here in order to get a Job in your field. So if you do not have any local /Middle East experience, you should be open to start from the bottom to try to get a little work experience of the market.

2. It depends with the Agency processing your visa. (Passport)

3. You can try either of them.

If you're coming to UAE, pls be very careful & take ur time to plan your movement very well, since I came here, I've been hearing stories that touches the heart from many Nigerians here. Meanwhile don't be deceived by beauty of Dubai and make a wrong decision, all that glitters is not gold. If possible don't come during this period cos sun wey dey shine now fit boil beans.

The fear of deira is the beginning of wisdom. Please mind whom u give money to process ur visa. So many touching stories of guys here, many paid for 3 month visa and were issued 1 month visa. Plan well before coming. Thank u nairaland for this forum, i took the step and it paid me at last. The join of a thousand mile begins with a single step. You can make it if u believe it. Stay positive, UAE is good place but you have to be extremely careful of any so agents especially in deira. Be ur brothers keepers

If you can gt 1 to always speak good of u among the top ranked staff, it's easier, he can b Ur guide and also spokesperson wen they start speaking the language you don't understand
