dis was done at d AGM,d chairman said dey were advised not 2 visit d market now cos of low prices of stocks and dey will visit d market at a more appropriate time.

I'm just thinking loud... this goes to show the calibre of people managing the bank. They first wait to see the reaction of investors before seeking for advice. Na wa o! I think something is fundamentally amiss somewhere in the bank, sorry to say. My opinion though.

What do you use to monitor prices. Bloomberg always has a 20 minute delay

If them like make them offload 100m units of fcmb at #1.00,we are marching forward............Make una warn that man o..........people wey pass am full here o.

I took the issue of liquidity lightly until two stocks sat me down for a GRUELING practicals on NSE namely CHAMPION BREWERIES and ETERNA.
Anytime you start feeling elated about stocks that are not liquid, I pray something should trigger you to start reducing your position size.
When you start feeling the heat and wish to offload, the stock only sell 'OVER-THE-NIGHT'.... You see the units for the day sold without knowing HOW it was done, but throughut the day, you see people like me asking for 7 units, 9 units etc etc...

I have failed in so many ways in this game that I may take a whole day talking about it....
It came to a point I started feeling my brokers planted a software on my laptop that was giving me contrary information to what was actually going on over there on the floor....

I agree with you on the bolded. It truly Deserves an award as the most illiquid stock of the century. Yours truly was trapped and had to take 60% loss just to exit. Its one of those stocks yours truly will never and ever recommend to anyone even not my enemy

You can't beat MM to illiquid stocks... its their baby, they love.

i thought TOTAL result was wonderful...Nna men just dey avoid am...

I just like the consistency of Fidelity Bank and FCMB with respect to their yearly payment of dividend!

Both banks would probably release their 2016 Full Year Results between 27th to 30th of March 2017!
