[quote author=locodemy post=54841656]Chairman........see........in Nigeria, when people begin to rush a bizness becos big money is coming out of it,it crashes. What is in your mind now is also in another person's mind and maybe 75% of Nigerians are thinking what you are thinking now.I will be happy to see those dollars perish in your hands..................[/qu ![]() |

Tritri:Sir, TOTAL is a good stock to watch out for. It is not meant for jijo. All the best! |

binaflexia:That's a good news sir. Shouldn't you be more concern that the forex market in Nigeria isn't transparent? Why CBN is the only supplier in that market should be a major concern to you and the country as a whole? In all, all the best! |

PLEASE GUYS HELP!!!! answer below I have 1 million shares with UCAP before closure but I just got a bank alert of 117k naira now which is far from what am expecting. Is it possible or someone in UCAP is trying to play smart This is a company that declares 50k per shares even though I know tax will be deducted but not more than 60% of the gross |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Manonamission: 6:49pm On Mar 22, 2017 |
akinola98:You bought in tranches. Activated e-dividend along the way but didn't request the extension of this service to subsequent purchases. It is not automatic bro, especially if you bought through different brokers. Consolidate your holdings with the REGISTRARS. It's got nothing to do with UCAP. Edit: WHT is just 10% of gross |

Manonamission:Thanks for the response but all my units were bought more than a year ago through the same broker moreover I received the appropriate dividend last year . Do u think it is still a problem from my side and please what can I do to get my remaining dividend and rectify this issue ?? Thanks |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 7:37pm On Mar 22, 2017 |
akinola98:Bros,you are right if you bought all the shares thru one broker.Your dividend is suppose to be #500k excluding the tax.I will advice you print your cscs from your broker indicating you have 1,000,000 units of ucap then take it to the registrar for urgent attention.pls do this tomorrow and let us know the outcome. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 7:45pm On Mar 22, 2017 |
akinola98:To confirm you are right to expect your full dividend since you bought at one house, see the email Cardinal registrars sent to me when i asked them if my FCMB e-dividend is mandated to my account................READ. Dear Sir, Thank you for the email. Please, be informed that the account has been mandated, and any purchase of FCMB shares with the same Clearing House Number(CHN) would automatically reflect in the account initially created. Also, the only reason why you would need to inform us of a new purchase is if you purchase your shares with another House, aside from the one we have initially. If any dividend is declared this year it would be credited directly into your account, because there is a mandate in place. Best Regards |

Chibuking81:If you can have those mentioned stocks in your portfolio,i tell you, people will envy you in six to nine months time.one thing i like in you is the ability to select good stocks.I dont think their results will disappoint even though some of them will not pay dividend this year but price appreciation is certain. For Fcmb,They are capable of paying up to 25kobo dividend but considering their present price,15-18 kobo is welcome. |

Godisfaithful:So you expect an import dependent nation to turnover overnight? We have being this way for ages, the collapse of oil price made it obvious for all to see. While the government is waking up to the reality and working towards making the necessary adjustments, they will not just sit and fold their hands and watch greedy few opportunist continue to take advantage of the situation at the expense of others. If they have the means, let them continue to pump and frustrate the hoarder. Like I said before, oil stays above 50 and Naira will continue to appreciate |

Princkez:Sorry bro..i just confirmed it now.but will the share price rally now? Zenith Bank shareholders have concluded their AGM approving dividend payment of N1.77 per share. They also approved the appointment of a new executive director. However, a notable item that was not considered for approval was the recent plans by the bank to raise additional N100 billion in capital. |

Market Update for March 21
Trading activities on the floor of
the Nigerian stock exchange
closed lower on Tuesday, halting a
five-day bull transition as traders
took profit from the rally, especially by financial service stocks to join
the global markets that were
mixed to closed lower reflecting
the uncertainty facing the world’s
economy. |

IMPORTANT QUOTE "The stock market is filled with individuals who know the price of everything, but the value of nothing." - Phillip Fisher Another testament to the fact that investing without an education and research will ultimately lead to regrettable investment decisions. Research is much more than just listening to popular opinion. |
