how do you justify the need for secrecy? for many people, what ever is secret, is dirty.

There's no secrecy. AMORC is an open book. Everyone and anyone is invited to see the work the order is doing. AMORC remains primarily an organisation and as such needs funds to survive. If subscription is not done by its members, the organisation won't be able to survive.

A colombe is important because she represents purity, light and peace. She is an image of the lodge. She represents beauty and order. She has special roles to play in Rosicrucian convocations. She is the heart of the temple. She is the light of the lodge. A colombe's role encompasses all dimensions: physically, spiritually, mentally, etc.

Because of their importance, they are selected carefully by a colombe coordinator and well trained. They have to represent purity, beauty, intelligence, light, peace, etc.

It is not an apartheid, as you put it cheesy. Every girl CAN become a colombe actually. Just that the selection process is designed to get the best. If a girl has the qualities, including intelligence, she certainly can become one. No one will tell you that you can't be. Simply partake in the training and do well. Many girls who are not called to follow that path will fall out. Mind you, being a colombe is not very easy. You have to sacrifice your time, you have to be patient, you have to possess a good memory, the ability to "act", speak well, etc.

Above all, a colombe MUST maintain her "purity" as a lady throughout her active years because she represents the purity of God!

So if by chance a COLOMBE gets to have an intercourse during her period of reign, what becomes of the Lodge, THE BOY and Her very self?

Nothing. I don't think anyone would find out except she comes out to say it and in which case, she would be counselled properly. What matters most is purity of heart, nothing else.

"The need for secrecy" is the title of one of the chapters of the book "The Secret Doctrines of Jesus".

Like I said, our conception of secrecy is relative. AMORC is an open book. If you want to know what goes on in AMORC, you join! This is akin to what obtains virtually everywhere. If you want to know what goes on in a church/mosque, you join. If you want to know what goes on in a shrine, you join.

If AMORC starts operating like an open university, so many people will use its teachings for negative things. Others will not value the heritage with which these teachings come from.

As for the book you alluded to, that's just the title of a book and all there is to it. It has nothing to do with AMORC as an organisation. Don't confuse Rosicrucian books for AMORC's official policy.

why should we be more careful about the abuse of your teachings than we should be about the abuse of teachings from conventional universities?

Because some of the teachings are spiritual in nature and must be carefully guarded. Every medicine can become a poison when the taker overdoses on them. Everything is potentially harmful if used in the wrong way. Under control and order, the perfect in all things is reached.

you've not answered the question. Islam, Christianity and ATR also talk about spirituality, but you don't see them too "careful" about their teachings. Why shoud your organization do that? Is your organization passing a more potent knowledge? The physics governing projectile can be harnessed for bad things, but you don't see universities being too careful about diseminating such knowledge, do you? So why is your case different?

Also, why is it that a lot of your members are from the SS and partially from the east? I know this because majority of people i know who also know your order are from that part of the country, with your order being almost unknown among many northerners.

AMORC has her reasons for limiting knowledge. It's an organisation, not a religion or university. It has the right to deseminate knowledge however it sees fit.

As for your second question. AMORC has more Caucasians as members than Blacks. Point being? Race, ethnicity, etc, are not necessary in spirituality. I know a Muslim from the North who's a member. We have a huge presence in the North especially in Abuja, Kaduna and Jos. No one should bother about these things. The journey to illumination is a personal one devoid of racial or ethnic coloration.

those are still christian areas.

Anyway, do you do your "Aums", "mas" and "Ras", at home? Do you live in a rented apartment? Don't the neighbours get scared and complain?

i like some of your materials, as a lover of knowledge that i am. The same way i like the Awake! and any other material that enlightens, but i CANNOT be one of you, because i am an atheist.

When your neighbours cast and bind demons, witches and wizards, in prayer bouts, do you complain to them?

Having the answer to the above in mind, there are many ways to pray, meditate and intone vowel sounds. You need not disturb the whole neighbourhood in order to meditate and create a proper psychic atmosphere. Just the way one can pray mentally, so also can one mentally intone these sounds to produce specific effects on the body.

Secondly, not every member subscribes to the intonation of vowel sounds. Some members don't even meditate in the conventional sense of it. Everyone has his/her own way of harmonising with his/her God.

And forgive my numerous questions.

AMORC strongly believes in the presence of a transcendental being but members are free to call it whatever they want (God, Allah, Oghene, Osolobrughwe, Olorun, Chukwu, Tree, Science, etc). While I wouldn't recommend AMORC to an atheist, I certainly would to a freethinker. AMORC has teachings that everyone can relate with.

Yes. Non-members are welcome to Pronaos convocations and conclaves.

There are many AMORC members that are highly placed but AMORC doesn't release a database of its members to the public so no one knows these members except they show themselves at the lodges or attend events.

how do you get members since you don't do proselytism like the muslims and christians?

In that introduction video i posted, there was a snake that wounded itself around a cross, what does that mean?

Have you also read the mystical life of Iesus?

We don't proselytize. Rosicrucians are born, not made. All students find themselves in the path.

I don't think I have come across any symbol of a snake on a cross before. I really haven't. Maybe it may have some symbolic interpretation but I honestly don't know.

I have read the book.

The only sign I saw closest to what you described was of a rose hanging on a cross and this is a standard Rosicrucian sign. Maybe you should point me in the right direction and tell me the exact minute and second that sign was depicted.

but i must confess that your materials are rich! the content is beautiful and can truely enlighten!

when you tell the fundamentalist that the reason for his bigoted attitude is because of ignorance, and he goes to give you that bible passage where jesus thanked his father for hidding these things from the schooled..., how do you respond to that?

I generally avoid altercations with fundamentalists except when absolutely needed to stress a point. Many Rosicrucians don't bother arguing with fundamentalists because we understand where they are coming from and how their cherished dogma represents their stage in evolution. You can't force someone to evolve from a certain stage unless he/she is really ready for that.

Esteemed and Venerated Imperator-

As you may have heard, I, Pierre S. Freeman, the author of The Prisoner of San Jose and AMORC Unmasked have taken grave exception to the practices and agenda of your organization, Ancient Mystical Order Of Rosæ Crucis, known to the world as AMORC. For this reason, I extend to you the opportunity to answer personally some of the questions that have troubled me and to defend your organization from the charges I have seen fit to make against it.
DOES AMORC DISTORT TRUE MYSTICAL UNION BY PLACING OCCULT POWERS OVER REAL SPIRITUAL AWAKENING?

In Degree 9, No. 29, it talks about how clairvoyance is produced by attuning with Cosmic Consciousness. Can you explain to me exactly what you consider this state of consciousness you call Cosmic Consciousness to be and how it is connected to you teaching your members how to attain various occult powers- including telepathy, the ability to heal, the capacity to step into another's consciousness and manipulate their actions, the ability to contact the dead, the ability to use a crystal ball to see into the future, etc.?

Ever heard of Rosicrucian colombes? If you encounter an ex-colombe who's a sorror (female member), you'd be awed and stand speechless.

In any case, like every other gathering, there are all variety and species of women. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!

Nevertheless, AMORC girls are beautiful. They reflect the perfection that reincarnation can ever birth!

DO AMORC MEMBERS REALLY GAIN THESE POWERS IN ANY KIND OF DEMONSTRABLE AND PERMANENT WAY?

Why haven't I--as a member of AMORC for 24 years and one who has passed through its higher initiations, have no kind of reasonable, demonstrable evidence that members can heal, control telepathic contact, communicate with the dead--or other so-called powers? I would particularly like to have been able to master invisibility as described in becoming invisible as in Degree 9, Number 20. DOES AMORC FALSELY ASSERT THE SCIENTIFIC VALIDATION OF ITS METHODOLOGY OF HEALING?

Take what it says in Initiate Section Degree 6 Number 19, you have the member doing the healing explain "that the whole procedure has nothing to do with any magical or occult practices, but that it involves a therapeutic practice that is entirely in keeping with the physiological laws functioning in the human body." In Initiate Section Degree 6 Number 15, you present a list that shows a certain "knowledge concerning the sympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system and the procedures that offer the possibility of curing most diseases." You further assert that "their efficacy has been put to the test and confirmed by scientists who are Rosicrucians." This is all very well, but why, after twenty-four years of study have I never come across any evidence whatsoever of such proof or confirmation of the validity of these practices? Don't you think it is dangerous to offer totally unverified techniques for healing a wide variety of conditions to members who might use them on themselves or others without having themselves checked out by a qualified health practitioner?

AMORC young members marry each other a lot. The few ladies that marry out sometimes end their membership due to husband's influence. There are also a minority that maintain passive membership even when married to non-members. I know a few of those in the latter category.

DOES AMORC ENCOURAGE UNWARRENTED VENERATION OF ITS IMPERATOR?

Whereas I know--because of my blog and my many conversations with your Rosicrucian members over the years--that many think that your organization is somewhat liberal in its approach to life and to the upholding of democratic institutions, I cannot help but wonder if you can explain why your title in your organization is Imperator, a Latin term which is translated to Emperor in English? What is the difference between the veneration that the people of Japan had toward their Emperor before and during World War II and the devotion of the members of AMORC have to you, Christian Bernard, as their venerated Imperator?
