Wow! CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER has now been moved to SA's special conditions list. We initially opted for this as against Call or contact centre manager seeing that we won't be able to hit 75 points. Now, this....I really hope that there can be a change to favour us by July ooo.

In the interim, I'm beginning to wonder if we could nominate the following - Welfare officer or Welfare centre manager.
Let me recap my wife's profile:

BSc Sociology-2005-2009 (REDEEMER'S UNIVERSITY)
NYSC- Project Coordinator with a state's NGO interested in social welfare.
Customer Service Representative (TELECOMS)- July 2011-Sept 2016
and October 2016 till date as Quality Assurance Officer with the same.

What do you think e-fam? Would the above profile fly if Welfare officer or Welfare Centre manager is nominated?

Best wishes to tyosho, Jamson, Incemay, Oknee as well as everyone waiting for invite or one form of good news in this path to Aussie.

Can anyone who has scored 79 and above in Pte kindly let me know how to prepare for my exams asides using online materials and the Center the person wrote and scored in Nigeria because it is really hard to get band 8 in ielts.
I heard it is easier to obtain an equivalent of band 8 scores in Pte than ielts. (I already have 7 in each of the bands)
Thanks

am 27yrs ...... i have a graduate degree..... with low gp,
You are not trying to gain admission into a university.. Therefore, your GP - first class or third class - does not concern them.... Only thing that matters is that you have a DEGREE... now, what did you study?

The person they contacted was not the person that signed my reference. My advice is for you to go through your HR department cos they will most likely contact with the most senior admin officer/HR to verify the letter. They contacted him via official email address and asked him to verify if the person that signed is authorised, how much i earn monthly and if my work is full term or part time.

Hi bro, I've been following your post for quite a while now and I must confess that it is really inspiring. Please bro, can you kindly give me a sample of what the reference letter should look like, and is the reference letter meant to be a letter headed paper(from my office "GOVERNMENT PARASTATAL" ) or an ordinary paper.

I have read through this thread from start to the end. It was quite informative and inspiring, you guys are doing a good job. I really want to make a little enquiry about a particular Skill occupation called Forester. I discovered that assessment is through Vetasses. What do you think is the required point to get a positive assesment?
With a profile of at least one year experience with Forestry research institute of Nigeria (Frin) as a research assistant and a degree and master in Forestry from FUTA. Thank you very much for your concern.

I'm still basking in the sunshine of my people's love as per birthday.
Thanks to you all.
@perrychemical, you may need to lay all on the table as per who you are here for us to dissect. Give us info on your age range, English test results, FUTA is 15 points, your year of experience is 0 point if not up to 3 years post degree.
I must confess that the hash tag makes a whole lot of sense.

No points required for positive assessment.

All you need is concrete evidence of your one year experience and a qualification relevant to Forestry. Try and match the ANSZCO code for Forestry

Get your documents together i.e. transcripts, Certificate, Employment evidences (pay-slips, Contract letters etc.)

Basically, check the required documents on vetassess website and you are good to go.

Congrats on scaling VETASSESS, Amazingraze; with a non-competitive occupation like yours, no need to waste time at all. Lodge immediately and get granted by next month!

Thanks, wish I could go on that fast, but I will to be preparing for PTE, aiming for 20points

Hello e-family....I'm so happy to have just got my 476 grant, thanks to Bellong and you all wonderful people.

I'm still trying to lodge an application for 189 before making any move and I have some issues abeg.

I couldn't find my Msc course on the SOL, however I was able to find my BEng (Materials Engr) on the SOL. Can I go ahead to pick Materials Engr? I do not have any cognate experience in this area apart from my 6 months IT and some project works, though I've learnt that EA can assess one even without experience.

Another worry is my observation from the Anzsco website on this my occupation choice.
From attached image, Anzsco wrote that the occupation is not eligible for 189, and this is the case for almost all engineering occupations that I checked on the Anzsco website eventhough they're currently available on the DIBP SOL list. Or did I misunderstand the Anzsco site?

Please help....
@bellong
@jukeblam
@anyone who has gotten positive EA assessment

Thanks everyone!

You hv answered ur 1st question you self, get assesed as materials engineer.

Materials Engineer is on SOL and still has about 40.1% for this current year. I've nit seen this your site before ooo but you can check the popular one anzscosearch.com

@Martinoonline,

All your answers are in your question.

Yes go ahead to pick materials Engineer, write your CDR based on school project, IT and anything you can lay hands on. It is advisable you lodge the assessment this month and if possible this week.

The Occupation is still on the list and less competitive like other Engineering profession.

You don't need experience, make up for it in English score of 20points.

Goodluck

The company should get you your tax certificate.

Better still use pension stuff like others have used.

Thanks to everyone, I got a positive outcome from EA today.

I need some clarifications on filling the EOI.
Does including a family member in an application limit his/her chances?
