The mtk version is even much more expensive than the sd except you are looking at the 3/64GB variant and not the 4/64GB. I would go for the sd version especially if you want to use it for 3years as there will be lot of custom roms available. FYI the sd version supports all our bands except Glo which is also not supported by the mtk variant.

Your are 100%right on your explanation. Rechecked aliexpress and found out the variant is becoming more confusing if not carefully reading between the lines. The mtk 4/64GB is more expensive @usd 216.99 - 249.99 while SD 4/64GB is @usd 205.99 - 229.99 but on pre-sell. Pls what do they mean by the pre sell? I think I need to end my search here.

Used to take about 3 days from despatched to overseas till it gets to Nigeria, now it takes 5- 10 days (Your mileage may vary).

Hi, it means they currently don't have it in stock because production is still going on but read the first batch will be released on the 20th. Pretty sure the price will go up after that.
