Pesuzok:

Apart from being a tie, that is just the simple truth.

However, I feel the OP is concerned about his previous application that was denied. His wife was 18 months pregy and maybe the VO that interviewed them noticed it, and maybe assumed that their intention was for birthing which they did not state.

My opinion though...

I don't think it should pose much of a problem. That situation has changed giving that they now have a baby, a material change

Please do I need a medical report or referral letter from my hospital in Nigeria for the visa interview. The reason for my trip to the U.S. is to go put an artificial arm. I had a fatal accident on the 26th February. So I had to do a traumatic amputation of my left arm because the tissues in the arm got dead which could lead to infection.

Most likely yes. And the reason why it can't be done here

I made a big mistake. Doing the paperwork for my mom, I did it all by self and now I found out the names difference from the paperwork I attached. It had her maiden name ( her father's name and native middle name) they asked me to provide proof it is the same person.
I also found they spelt her name on her passport differently too. On that same passport, the DOB is different from what I assumed her age was. I innocently did the mistake of non communication.
Problem now my mom doesn't keep/have paperwork I can provide.

Not sure how to advise you on this, since I didn't encounter a problem like this. I'll suggest you ask the visa officer here:

Question here guys!!

I tried to google this question and review past pages, but I figured I could get a quicker response this way. I would like to renew a US visit visa for a family member that came over to visit once last year. They had a 2-years visa that expires this month. I'm not sure what to send over to Nigeria except what google provides:

"Qualifying applicants will be prompted to print a letter confirming their eligibility for the program and instructing them to drop off the letter with their passport, application confirmation sheet, passport photos, visa fee receipt, and appropriate forms to one of the DHL facilities in Abuja or Lagos. The application packets are adjudicated and returned to the applicant’s selected DHL location within 7-10 business days."

In addition to the above, should they also include an invitation letter, bank statements, etc just like the first time? How long is the wait through dropbox?

No, they don't have to. @the bolded talks of wait time already (though it could be less or even more some times).

Or are you living in Nigeria legally? Yes oh, we too we don't condone illegal immigrants, and that's why the US will not grant you her visa if you can't prove to them you are in Naija legally.... When! We bam reach like that.

Good day everyone, madam bendel, seyewest and others pls help us go thru our transit and point where we have gone wrong in today's interview.
March8/3/2017.

VO: good morning
Hubby and I: morning how is work today
VO: fine, thanks.
VO: where in d Usa are u going?
Hubby and I: Baltimore, maryland
VO: why maryland
Wife: it as a lot of tourist attraction centers
VO: where would u like to visit
Hubby : Answered
VO: where will u be staying
Wife: we've made a reservation at bla bla bla hotel.
Vo: where do u work
Hubby: so so bank
Vo: so u have worked for 8 years
Hubby : yes
Vo: madam where do u work?
Wife: bla bla bla as this and that
Vo: have u traveled before?
Wife: yes, we have been to dubai and Ghana for a family vacation.
Vo: what are u job functions, he asked my hubby
Hubby: bla bla bla
Vo: u applied last year June and u worked as an Atm custodian
Hubby: yes, and explained
Vo: He stood and started typing for like 20secs,

The next thing was to bring out the blue paper and said sorry I cannot forge ahead with ur application, kindly go thru this form and apply next time.
I immediately asked why he denied us the visa but he didn't say anything, he just said we should go thru the blue paper and re-apply. Pls my people in the house can u pls explain where we have gone wrong to be denied. And pls can we apply immediately again?
This is d second time.[/color]
I don't think Baltimore and tourist attraction has any relationship. So just like i don't believe you are going to Baltmore for tourism I guess the VO didn't believe too. Are you visiting a relation or friend? state that but only if you are sure of how the person got there. And if you really want to tour the Baltimore area then add Washington DC.

Should I disregard? It says "this visa application will ask you to upload a digital photo of yourself". I'm not sure if attaching it to the paper confirmation will suffice.

Tons of mini questions .. i'm sorry. cool

Good day pple,

A friend of mine applied for B1/B2 visa with the husband in 2015 thru an agent and was granted.
They travelled same year, she stayed for 3 weeks cos of her work and hubby stayed for 5 month.
Hubby travelled again alone and overstayed.
Hubby returned and applied for student visa alone but both hubby and wife where invited for interview and also interviewed separately.
The VO asked the wife if she knows why the hubby overstayed and she said that he is an adult that have his own mind.
Hubby refuse to tell the wife what he was asked at the interview.
Her hubby visa was revoked and he was banned for 5years

Now the confusion:
The wife wants to renew her expired visa alone and she is scared if her hubby's issue will affect her renewal.
She does not know all the information on the form cos she was not be person that filled the form like mother's and father's date of birth.

Please house, what do u advise she should do?
Good pple of Nairaland.

She decided to try it out and we both filled the form base on her true information and submitted it. Her Visa came out today. She was issued 2years. Her is was the fastest that I have seen cos mine and hubby took 7 working days before it was issued while hers was just 4 days.

I guess her case was treated without having to let her hubby's undoing affect her.
More importantly God's favour went ahead of her.

Thanks all for your inputs.
