Obembe042:
Hello All,

I want to find out what status I should declare in my EOI, should it be 'SEPARATED', 'NEVER MARRIED' or 'DIVORCED'.

Separated....

I heard that if I state 'SEPARATED', I will be asked for the medicals of my estranged wife, which she WILL DEFINITELY not do

From what you've stated, No other option but to resolve issues... You could get records and other evidence of her refusal.

On the Form 80, what should be the answer to question 42 - Do you have a partner; should it be YES or NO?

Yes until legally divorced I think....

Also question 43 (Form 80) asks about if I have children;

You'll have to fill your sons details and take him for medicals even though you don't intend to travel with him.

Please I need you all's candid advice

Although, I have been very skeptical about being nominated as AQF bachelor based on someone posting something schools being categorized into sections 1 , or 2 by acrios or whatever.

Its a mixed feeling here as am Glad for the AQF bachelor and sad about the -Ve outcome(263111)

Moving forward I will be nominating another occupation before the end of the day ($395).....after i request for a recommendation ($200) from ACS.

My wife's assessment is still in stage 4a.
I think the reason is explicit. Your role of information technology does not go hand in hand with the nominated occupation of network engineering. You can check if there is any occupation close to information technology. All the best.

Thanks Bellong. I just needed someone to point me in that direction and you just did. Hopefully I'll find what I need therein.
Many thanks bro.

@aceBlazer,

I believe you are bypassed because no one has got time to start looking through the thread for the link you asked.

Click on Bnimz's profile, go through his posts, you will find the link there. Sorry, I can't do that for you.
Thanks.

But I still look forward to any undergraduate mechanically based engineering CDR as I really need to hit the bulls eye this time. I noticed the ones shared via that link are on other engineering disciplines, which am sure will be useful.

Bro, what you need is a guide which has been provided in the CDR samples in the link and I feel you should be ok with that.

In my case, I used that of civil engineering which is different from my field and it was fine.

Kereoo! Kereooo!! Kereoooo!!!, This is to inform every family member here that mamajaz of chief bellong's Australia thread page on Nairaland has defeated IELTS arms down in the test which was conducted on 25th March 2017, LRW (7), S (7.5).
She can now confidently proceed to register with AHPRA.
I wanna register my thanks to the almighty God for connecting me with all efam members here.
Special thanks to bimsy ( the first person that counsel me to write IELTS, however, I stubbornly went after PTE-A the second time), Jamson, who sacrificed much to come and tutor me in Ilesha ( he came all the way from Akure), Bnimz who kept encouraging me all the way, Mctowel01 my tutor per excellent ( a no nonsense critic, who kept reading & correcting my wayo essays all along).
To my lovely sisters in the house, Utcheylee, we started the race for PTE-A, you kept supporting me all along, you're a noble woman, and I appreciate your doggedness. God in His unfailing mercies will say "Yes" to your dreams.
Sister, Teejay80 can't go for nothing less than a darling, supportive, loving, a wonderful counselor who when I told her that the IELTS woman was writing 5.5, 5.5, 6, 9, during my speaking, sister Teejay80 told me not to be moved by what I see...
Nkechima, I can't stop appreciating you, your soothing words were always timely.
I'm most grateful to everybody in the family for encouraging me when I was about giving up on English.
To this end I want to encourage all of us to keep shooting at the moon, so that we will land amidst the stars ( worst scenario).

Thanx so much RettO for your response.

From this website: https://australia-visa-solutions.com/2013/08/23/health-and-medical-requirements-for-australian-visas/

it talked about children undergoing medicals but mentioned nothing about spouse (estranged or not).

Resolving issues with her seems like a tall order at the moment. So if it's not mandatory for her to go for medicals but it is for my son, it's something I can work out.

I don't know if anybody has been in this issue or knows someone who has, I will really appreciate a response from that person too.

Oga Bellong and other gurus in the house, please how can someone prove marital separation??..Since we've not gone to court yet?

Many thanks to Oga Bellong and other gurus in the house for this thread.

I have B.Tech. Electrical Engineering (Electronics opt) with 6 yrs plus in Telecoms as a field operations Engineer and my last 3 years plus as an equipment operator in oil and gas field in one of the multinationals.

I would like to be assessed as Telecommunications Engineer (263311) for 189. Would you advise i include my oil and gas experience which had almost nothing to do with telecoms as part of my work experience/ CDR episode? Please your assistance would be highly appreciated.
