Where was Okai when the most corrupt democratic government was ruling this country under the watch of GEJ. Make he go sit down jere. What did he do when some corrupt elements were ruling his state in the immediate past years under the umbrella of the party he belongs to? I wish to on behalf of the family of the late former MD Radio Kogi Alh. Abu Onaji and my late mother Madam Adizetu Abu Onaji, unambiguously disassociate the onaji family from the publication and post by a certain individual Mr Usman Austin Okai who was alledging that the ongoing screening of pensioners in Kogi state was responsible for the death of my parents. That is a blatant lie and it's condemnable in its entirety. Mr Austin who has so far apologised to the family for trying to leverage on my parents death to get at the Gov. Bello led administration is neither a member of the family nor a friend and never had any contact with the family hence he was speaking for himself and his cohorts. For the record, my late mum was at no time a civil servant so I wonder how Mr Okai and his co travellers came up with the information that my late mother died as a result of the non payment of 7 months pension being owed her by the kogi state government; My parents died peacefully in their sleep as they always wished and as muslims, we strongly believe they both left at God's appointed time. We urge kogites and Nigerians the world over to join us in condemning this malicious affront on our privacy. The family is deep in mourning and our need to do so should be respected. Regards. Abu M. I beg to differ with you on this. Austin Okai has never criticized Yahaya Bello for not being an Igala-speaking man. All his criticisms are based upon the evident poor performance of the Governor in the past fourteen months since he assumed office. Notably, the unending screening exercise and the failure to impact positively on the lives of the people of the state.
