It ain't booting at all and that's what scaring me the more!

thats because ur secure boot is enabled....got to BIOS, and disable it...
if EUFI is disabled, then enable it or vice versa, then it will boot from CD

Good day All,
Someone installed Windows 10 for me yesterday and I realized today that the when I shut down, the screen goes off but the white light on the power button remains still. I have to press and hold the power button for the light to go off completely.
Pls how do I address this issue.

i used my laptop through out today... everyting was fine...
but by evening when i switch it on... the system is working but noting is showing on the screen... as in Power is not goin to the screen at all... i really am not a computer engineer... please what is the problem guys...

U are missing something,i think the error is from the CD,is it a new one or u collected from someone
somthing like this best is format with a USB Flashdrive,
which is
Get is ISO file of the OS
Burn the ISO file to a flash drive
boot ur pc from the flash and run installation..

I reommend uninstalling your USB drivers and driving them again.

Nigerian technicians and their Jargon. Whatever happened to "uninstalling and reinstalling your drivers"? How do you" drive" a USB?

What is the brand and model of your laptop?
what OS are you running?

You may try the windows repair option/recovery option to help with issues involving operating system errors.
If that doesn't work, you can back up your files,reload another OS and then drive your system

The light will remain for almost a minute once the system is being shut down.... Just wait for few seconds

My laptop is refusing to boot, shows bluescreen video_tdr_error whenever it tries to boot and restarts continuously. Have tried system restore, e no work. Gone to a previous restore point, no work , automatic repair, no result. I don't tire. Even tried plugging hdmi to skip the laptops screen, no work. I know its a vga issue but can it be replaced if it comes down to that?

Laptop spec is Sony VAIO , 750 gb, 8gb ram. VGA is AMD 5000 series.

Its not a VGA issue, rather its an OS issue. Your OS may be corrupt.

Back up your files, reload and drive your system
