Why do they even host "nairaland" pool parties, like wtf

I just don't get it!

I'd understand if nairalanders were all constrained in an apartment, with posters on each floor posting away. Then it'll make sense for Yall to host a party, since, on your way to the laundry room of the apartment you can be like, "guy, shey u dey land abi?", "is that girl on 2nd floor with big yansh coming? "," I'm rolling with u"...

However, nairalanders are scattered across the globe, so unless the likes of Beyonce are nairalanders, I just don't see how all the single ladies, not located in lag, would actually pay for flight and bus tickets for something very iffy

Then there is the creep factor, since nairaland isn't just a site for the sane, but for the insane as well, since they don't discriminate. So it's like, okay, who's a psycho here Who

Then there is a lack of good precedence set my the previous party, where is was said attenders or attendees were spotted begging for pure water.
