Well as for those who thought Abiola was killed with just a cup of tea You all believed what our politician wants Us to see which happens to be a fallacy.

Something else killed him and whatever that is 'll never see the light of day . I just hope someday someone'll tell us what they actually use to kill him.

Take heart my brother, your Yoruba people are very wicked, wild, and cruel. When ever you see Yoruba people run for your life. That's a lesson for you.

BabaRamota1980:

He does notbhave a point if the claim is spurious and lack fact as base. The topic of Abiola's death is shrouded in mystery. The belief is that he was killed by Northerners who handicapped his mandate brcause as Aare Ona Kakanfo, a powerful traditional title meaning the Yoruba War Commander, he had in past talked about reinstating Ilorin under the Kakanfo title. As an ordinary citizen he had no power to enforce it but as President of the country he could bring about a huge political change. After Abacha's death it was natural to expect Abiola to be released and sworn in as President but they extinguished him than see him enthroned and carry out his desire in Ilorin.

Ex Governor Lawal of Kwara had promised a similar ambition and was actually putting it in practice, they killed him.

Its common practice to see deaths of Yoruba politicians as an inside job. When people have no where else to go for cause of death they say Yoruba people killef their loved ones. Abdulmumuni should tell us who and why Abiola was betrayed by his kinsmen if he wants us to believe his story.

Why are u spreading the same issue that is " spurious and lack
fact as base. ? grow up pls..

Abiola supported his personal choice of political candidate... and therefore deserved to be killed...

Internet youngsters are just ranting on this thread forming baby politicians, its funny because the media always present a story that we all can swallow and digest. But so many untold stories surrounding the death of mko can never appear on any media outlets, when I see people argue over issues they think they know its amusing. Don't believe everything you read and the custodians of the real information are ready to go down the grave with it, only a privileged few will actually get some facts about it. All these nairaland tribal war lords you people should keep entertaining us, I don't see any of you as reasonable people but a bunch of jackass.

In other words, you are Yoruba and this post is paining you. Lol

Daboomb:

E-goats like you wont go to "good" schools when it matters.... if you manage to attend school at all grin , otherwise, you would understand the meaning of the Word "LITERALLY", when to use it...... and know that it was mis-used in that statement!

We all know without doubt, that MKO Abiola died in prison, when he was poisoned with TEA served to him under the detention of Abdusallami, just a few days after Abacha died.

So, like Abiola's son (who l think should have gone to good schools but like the spoilled brat he is, he never paid attention in School), you scumbags dont know "figure of speech"!

Agreed that no one butchered Abiola and served his meat on a plate of Rice, why is it that Abiola's son used the phrase "LITERALLY" when it actual fact, he meant FIGURATIVELY?
"Literally" is an Antonym to "Figuratively"..... (opposite in meaning!)

Definitions:

literally
The adverb 'literally' means "actually," and we use it when we want others to know we're serious, not exaggerating or being metaphorical.

Figuratively
Figuratively means metaphorically, and (literally/actually) describes something that actually happened. If you say that a guitar solo literally blew your head off, your head should not be attached to your body.

For example,
If your mom complains that your room is overflowing with clothes, she probably doesn't mean this literally.
Your room might be messy and chaotic, but your clothes aren't actually piled so high that they're flowing into the hallway. Your mom is being figurative — she's exaggerating.
Now, if your clothes really were piled up so high that they were flowing into the hallway, your mom would say, "Your room is literally overflowing with clothes!"

This is a common mistake in Vocabulary, that ill-educated people make (ill-educated is not a function of going to the most expensive schools around, it just means you have a bad/dysfunctional education that produced a bad result, as above)

LiePAds fuelled by "Anger and Hatred" for anything Yorubas, please dont make such grammatical mistake henceforth.
This lecture is given for free.
