Hi guys,

I've already booked an appointment for health assessment prior to receiving ITA.

Would you reckon I wait until my health assessment is done and/or uploaded to my immi account before proceeding with my Visa application? Or it doesn't matter even if I apply before that?

My concern is mainly in responding to the question "Has the applicant done migration health assessment in the last 12 months?" Answering YES after only completing the assessment (before it's updated on immi account) may attract a CO to my case even before it's uploaded. I was told it would take 2 - 5 business days to do so.

Hello everyone! Have been following this thread for a very long time since 2016, hoping to read a testimony that will reflect my case but couldn't find any.

This is my first post as I officially joined NL today.

I have HND in Petroleum and Gas processing Engineering (Chemical Engineering) upper credit, infact the best female student 2013, lol. After youth service no job, so I don't have any job experience.

This has weakened me as I don't know how to begin without any company to file me up.
So in the midst of my frustrations, I came up with an idea which may sound sarcastic but I'm serious.
I want to plead with any single guy who have already gotten nominated to please take me as his wife, that way I can boycott the work experience thing and I'm ready to pay anybody for this great favour please guys consider me.

I can take exams and besides I'm single too.
I hope I don't sound too stupid to piss anybody off. I just express how I feel.
If you can help me please PM me.

Thanks in advance.

You can also leave an advise on how I can still go on without work experience.

Congrats to @ catchdwind4rmkd. The good Lord will perfect that which He started.

On the type of IELTS to take, I think it depends on the assessing body.
While DIBP accept both general and academic, the assessing bodies have their preferences.

I think Vetasses does not require English test before assessment

Bodies such as CPA and CA make it mandatory for prospective migrant to take Academic version of the test ( solely for the purpose of assessment).

Hence, it is important to check the assessing body site before taking a decision on which type of test to take.

Hi guys,

IMO, I would say wait a few days after your medicals so that they would have uploaded it. In fact have everything ready before you apply just incase this your "speedy" anointing follows you and your file gets picked up fast, to avoid CO contact. I have seen on expatforum where some people had gone for their medicals but it hadn't yet been uploaded and got CO contact.
