ocelot2006:The Britons know the reason why they handed over leadership of this country to us. Moreover, they still identify with us and see us as the owners of Nigeria because they know what we have upstairs. Nigerian military under us has always distinguish itself among its counterparts in the African region. |

malware:Still talking out of your arse. Again, these scholarships are subject to the usual Federal character stipulations. So, no one dominates them. Even though your clannish, power-hungry leaders would allocate everything to themselves if they could, regardless of their state of qualification and education. |

malware:Yes, all those shoemakers, and gatemen, and petty roadside mallams, and okada riders and dustbin cart pushers, and plenty of beggars swarming all over the South are evidence of what you "have upstairs". What baffles me is how you people cling to power so desperately and enrich your ruling class while the worsening living standards of the masses isolated from Nigeria is about the same level as Somalia or South Sudan. I do envy those that manage to go to school there though: with little competition, they easily get plum government jobs while youths of the South trample each other looking for jobs. |

Obi1kenobi:You forgot to mention scavengers that full every nook and cranny of Lagos and other cities in the country. Where are they from. They live in thatch houses, hope you know what I mean. |

malware:I don't know. Maybe you'll tell me. Most of the ones I see in Lagos are Northerners. You're a comedian sha, to be claiming that the North dominates any kind of scholarship when even the the ones they get are mostly gifts from Federal character and quota system. Then claiming you "distinguish" yourselves when the overwhelming majority of high-achieving intellectuals in this country are Southerners. Despite this, your tribalist leaders try to allocate everything to themselves. As I said, it is just impossible for this country to take any progressive step as long as we're yoked together with your regressive region. |

Obi1kenobi:But why don't you free yourselves from the regressive region if you think you have all the intellectuals. Or are you guys powerless despite the intellectuals? |

malware:Of course the Brits knew what they were doing when they handed power over to you. YOU'RE EASILY CONTROLLED! Like sheeps being led. Easy. And it still shows till date. Your people are too gullible and definitely not enlightened. And the military, plus paramilitary and intelligence services, under your regions rule TOTALLY SUFFERED. Broken down and absence of equipments, no basic body protection, poor signals equipments, lack of tactical training, etc. Leaders like IBB practically destroyed the equipment, Abacha ruined the Army. Kudos goes only Shagari. Oh btw, did I mention extremely poor morale plus total suspicion among the ranks of the services. Is that what you call serving with distinction? It was only under the leadership of Southerners that the military was totally reformed to a respectable fighting for. OBJ's administration restored professionalism and began the arduous task of refitting the services. But it was even under GEJ that we saw even more from the massive purchase of better weapons and equipment not only for the military buy every other security and intelligence services, adoption of better tactical training on COIN and Counter Terrorism. Hell, equipments purchased is what aided that slowpoke Buhari in his war on terror! |

ocelot2006:But you accepted everything they brought to you, including religion and their ways of life. So who's more gullible? |

malware:You still don't get it. So let me break it down: YOUR PEOPLE CANNOT REASON FOR THEMSELVES. That is why they are easily malleable and controlled by your leaders. Give an instruction down South, irrespective of geopolitical region, and be certain that a considerable number of people will sift through it to determine if it's right or outright bullshyte. Why we don't initiate religious fuelled crisis here. |

ocelot2006:Ohh I see, quote me again when you guys determine whether cultism, ritual killings, baby factory and kidnappings are right or outright bullshit.

malware:No matter how civilized a nation may be, it will not the fact that you cannot get rid of crime. The North's issue is a societal one that can easily be resolved or at least minimized if your leaders invest in education. But come to think of it, your region ruled this nation for 40+ years (and wrecked it), your leaders introduced corruption and got stinking rich be looted its coffers, yet your region wallows in abject poverty with your people easily controlled with the basics like food by your political and imams. |

ocelot2006:Did I hear you say societal crime? Cam you define this societal crime for me please? For your information, North is more peaceful than the south, quote me anywhere. Just tell me one crime or criminal that is being celebrated in the North and I will cite ten for you in the South. Baby factory is a good example of societal crime in South/East. Kidnapping is another one Culltists live in the society and they always fight supremacy battle with innocent people losing their lives in the process. Cocaine pushing is not on your crime list ba? Human trafficking is normal in your society ba? |
