I wrote my GRE last year. q151 v149 A2.5

i stopped the applications along the way because i diverted some of the money intended for use then.

I am considering re writing the GRE and also TOEFL

Some schools i tried contacting wants me to evaluate my transcript. Most of the schools are in south dakota.

Intended study is Ms Electrical Engineering, 3.25/5

WES free evaluation: 3.17/4.0

I intend to use IERF for the course by course evaluation of my transcript.

Any advice...

Why not WES for evaluation?

The stress of having to follow up in school for them to confirm my transcript and all.

And my undergrad institution FUTA has not been the same since i left.

Congratulations.
Admission and funding goes beyond getting stellar GRE scores. Though things are much easier when you've got stellar scores, your GRE isn't all that's required by the admission committee. A lot goes into their decision. How competitive are the other aspects of your application/profile? With even a mediocre GRE score, one can get admitted and even have a shot at funding if one gets other aspects of the application right. If there's anything I've learnt, it is that you have to choose the right blend of schools for the right profile. It's no use applying to top schools and getting rejected when you know you'd get juicy offers if you lowered the bar a little.
If you've got the resources, please by all means retake the exam. If not, then use all the resources available to you to search out the right blend of schools for your profile.

Good morning all, For those of us hoping to write the Gre by september or subsequent months to come, please can we come together to purchase the magoosh premium account ( the one for 6 month). It is no news that one's success on the Gre is hinge on the amount of practice test he/she went through. Let's come together to be part of eachother's success story. The truth is I have written the exam before but I had a little less than 300. I think I should just say it sef, I had 294 (150Q 144V) but I strongly believe those scores can still increase with enough practice test. masterforceii initially made a post about this, but it appears I am the only one that has contacted him about it so far. Please let's come together to reduce the price burden, we will all benefit from it.

What rate is your bank charging you? BY MAFIT did additional score reports at N8000 per school. Get their numbers through their website and give them a call. I know the dollar requirement by ETS is $27 per school which makes BY MAFIT cheaper than the naira equivalent of $27 which should be 27* 305 (can't process it at the moment).

Since your field is science based you would be judged more on the V than the Q. Your V is in the 70+ percentile which is great so congrats.

I recommend you sent emails to prospective advisors before applying to schools and come up with a suitable tale as to why the Q is low (apart from the fact that it is not a major determinant). Every other thing others said WRT your score may still hold sway.
