Good morning pals.

To all admitted students without funding, keep pushing. Call them, write the director or any other staff you feel like reaching out to. Pray about it too, you will get positive results. I did.

Try to register and sit for SAT and TOEFL. If you can nail SAT together with your 'very good' WAEC result, there is 97% chances you'll get a full scholarship in a US school.
please can anyone kindly let me know if WES also evaluate Waec result and secondary school transcript when one is applying for undergraduate?

Good Afternoon fam.

Please, what is the interval/duration of days before one can take GRE/TOEFL after registration?

That is to say, if I register maybe on Monday, when will the test be scheduled?

I barely spend up to 5 days on the land every month.

How can I write these examinations (GRE, TOEFL) if I am never available.

That is a very good school. Did you get admission into Penn State? Your GRE and Toefl score must be very good. Do you wanna share it? How did you prepared for it. How about the essay. I think the easiest way to get a job in America is going to reputable school rather lowly ranked universities. A friend of mine attending Texas A & M Uni got 3 solid intern positions this summer and so much so she is forgoing a semester to experience 2 of the 3 positions.

Going to a top school is a plus, but there are people who graduated from them too and without jobs. The key is networking well with peers, with hiring managers and honing your skills while in school.

For context, may we know the profile of this your friend i.e. Undergrad CGPA, current grad CGPA, Program/Course, and if she has a green card?
Thanks.

See question o...if you are out of time, use a courier company na. Compare prices of DHL or FedEx or any other prominent ones you know. By now in this era, it should be a minimum of 9k for anyone of them. Someone once mentioned NIPOST has some kinda express delivery option like that. I suggest you go to their office and ask. That one shouldn't exceed 3k or so.

Hmmm. I don't wanna be upfront because she has an account on here but rarely come to travel section. She had a firstclass degree in Mechanical Engineering in Nigeria. She is green-cardless. Can't refer to her current CGPA. She was thrilled when HRs from Apple and Goldman Sach personally contacted her to apply to their companies but never went to those two anyway.

Thanks. That's impressive. You are yet to mention her degree here in the US though. And also, her work experience back in Nigeria?

Hello House,

I'll like to quickly get clarification on the below questions;

1. Is any document required at POE aside the I20 and passport?

2. Does immigration permit F1 Visa holders to fly with one way ticket?

Monikers please assist with these questions.

1. To be on a safer side, also take your sponsor's statement of account along if you will be paying your tuition in the US.

2. You are required to book a one way flight if you are not travelling back to Nigeria within the next 1 year.
