Jonathan found himself as the proverbial meat in the sandwich. By some twist of fate, I am inclined to agree with OBJ that Jonathan was too small for the presidency. The closing chapter portrays Jonathan as a wailer. Somebody should tell.him that this is politics. He came, he saw and should take his medicine.No complains. He certainly did not conquer, let nobody deceive him.He should have remained in Bayelsa. But God works in mysterious ways.

The question is whether we have learnt any lessons? Is this what Buhari is going through?

The answer , they say, is blowing in the winds.

It is more preferable to use simple words in writing rather than high sounding ones that doesn't fit the context of your write-up. It is called malapropism and your comment has some examples of it. Don't get me wrong, this is not in any way a means to ridicule you. I like your analysis but feel it could have been better written.

Also in the spirit of not "ridiculing" each other, perhaps if you knew what a malapropism was you could point out where one was used in the statement you quoted. Similarly, I can understand how today's reduced standard of education would make some feel that what I wrote is difficult to understand, but would merely urge persons who believe so to do something about their comprehension of written English.

Okay, I'd give an example. Just don't take it the wrong way as I guess you had with your sarcastic response.

Nigeria belongs to some people, that much we know and they dictate what happens in every government and are untouchable even in adverse governments.

PS: I don't go out of my way to correct people's grammar on social media. Yours is a great comment in light of the original post and given the viral nature of the subject, I'm certain a lot of people are likely going to read it hence my initial comment. I apologise if I offended you.

GEJ was too small to rule Nigeria, OK. Those of them who were too big to have ruled people like OBj or Buhari what were their achievements in office? If you are sincere check the record of our past presidents there stories look alike at the end of their regimes. The coming back of Buhari have never change anything. The solution lies with Nigerians to start calling a spade a spade and demand better reform for the country in general. Improve our voting pettern and reduce attaching religion or he is my brother ideas for election. This is our major challenge to confront the elites and politicians, we need majority who thinks alike and believe on a better Nigeria for all . We can blame anybody but hey focusing on what is the solution is the point. Nigerians is not united to solve our problems yet. GEj did not do well yes but some of us foreseen it that Buhari will fumble too. Politicians dividing us along our 6 political zones is a collateral damage and against the interest of one Nigeria. We need a popular votes with the right minds to form the culture of a one-nation.

The politicians, their families and friends are the winners. We need to stop trying to win arguments and fighting for politicians and start fighting for betterment of Nigeria.

Some one posted it on this thread. You can download. I've been made aware that the author insists his mail was hacked and the soft copy stolen which may be why the softcopy was in massive circulation. I'm now threading softly if you get my drift....
