Oga stop deceiving yourself, you are not more intelligent than the lowest ranked IPOB member. If you yorubas want unity with the Igbo for your 'fiscal hullabaloos' you kneel down and roll on the floor and BEG FOR it. Igbos will not be stampeded into uniting with you sons of treachery and scions of the fallen luciferous one, whose treachery cost them millions of lives when it mattered most. THERE WILL NEVER BE AN IGBO-YORUBA POLITICAL UNITY AGAIN.

These same yorubas have been silently opposing resource control and backstabbing the NIGERDELTA for years because unviable states like osun and Kwara and oyo will become MORIBUND WITHOUT CRUDE OIL.

Igbo want out and they must leave, whether it happens today or tommorow is a different story.

Finally, I am a proud IPOB member and it is as clear as the rising sun that you intellectually lowly to me.

Who are you please? Are you Nnamdi KANU? You speak like him.

Is there any statistical proof that Ibo control economy of Nigeria? Is there any proof they are enterprising more than other tribes when the market is open and free of monopolies? These numbers that promote Ibo dominating import market, clothing market, auto parts market, hardware market...and are not disputed....invariably serve as statistical samples for opinion on how the market will react to the call for referendum on Biafra.

All the resources and infrastructures that give Ibo edge on those listed areas are all located in zoogeria. So when the die is cast you will have an economic decision to make and the political interest will highly likely suffer a defeat.

What alternative do you have to imports? Any infrastructure in place to support that? In addition, look in my posts and go find what i said about biafra staying in as member of West African States.

Your choice to belong in West Africa is at conflict with your political drive for Biafra.

If you become Biafra and remain in ECOWAS then you have squandered your opportunities because as Biafra you will now have dependency, not citizenry with the nationalities of Yoruba and others through whom your revenue stream flow in. They can therefore ruin Biafra at will by creating predatory policies.

Have you no sense?

This long boring overused line of unity begging wasn't what I asked.

You guys need to really start finding new set of lines in your effort of unity begging. The claims of igbo needing you for survival isn't selling. You've been doing it for the past several years now yet the number of igbo wanting out of your zoogeria keeps increasing by the day. That should tell you that overused line is useless and redundant.

In addition, our ancestors lived in the area we currently reside without interacting you people before the arrival of europeans despite begin known as generational traders and they survived. Wtf makes you think igbo need you guys for survival? You are nation that can't even take care of your own self. Blessed with crude oil yet one of the most poverty ridden nation in the world so what makes you Nigerians think you have to authority to teach any one anything about a nation building, stable economy or development (a task you haven't achieved yet despite being 100 years old). I suggest to all of you guys begging for unity and trying to "teach" biafran about economy to take your teaching to your country that's currently self destructing. Charity begins at home.

Oh one last thing. Like I suggested to your other brethren. I suggest googling Oyigbo and Egbema LGA, it's contribution to Nigeria economy and the ethnic group residing in those lands. Prior to crude oil existence, it has been proven that the nation depended on palm oil for survival, not groundbut pyramid or cocoa farm like we have been propaganda to believe ( if you need me to back up what i said, I'll be more than happy to oblige as the thread was on this forum). Anway, we all can recall where palm oil is predominately cultivated at. Then crude oil came into place, oyigbo and egbema contributes a huge chunk on it then the question now begs wtf igbo benefitted from zoogeria since it's existence? Absolutely nothing. Therefore for what reason do we continue been in a country that is so destructive that it is disgusting. What should we continue living in a nation filled with hateful animals who for generations love using igbo as their insulting bag, a nation that once made it legal to kill igbo? Why should anyone stay in an abusive relationship when they benefiting not one single thing for from it while the abuser takes more than they give?

As for the market people opinion about biafra. Ipob conducted an act that proves where the market people stands. A year ago, IPOB made a declaration that markets should be closed for one day as a protest for Nnamdi Kanu's arrest. The non igbos mocked them claiming no igbo person would listen to them. Ironically, when the day came...ipob took it upon themselves to show images of how empty the busiest market where igbo conducted their trading was during that day. That singular act should tell you where the people stands when a referendum occurs.

Anyway, no need for the overused line. Just show me the data that brought you to conclusion "MOST IGBO WOULD VOTE FOR NIGERIA." that's all I asked and care for. Thank you

Oh btw laughable the claim of the "Your choice to belong in West Africa is at conflict with your political drive for Biafra." Is ridiculously laughable. You Nigerian have such grandiose delusions on your importance in West Africa. Incase you aren't aware, Nigeria influence in West Africa and the continent is overall is highly insignificant. When Biafra occurs, I'm curious in how you believe Nigerians can force other West Africans to shun Biafra and trade with the nation. I curious in knowing the level you think you have in terms of West African politics. The interaction with Boko Haram and all west african nation refusing to assist until BH started invading cameroon should have told una how limited your influence in West African politics. In addition your inability to get Ghanaian governmemt to stop shutting down Nigerian own company few years ago for no reason in other to give it's citizens leeway should also tell you how limited your influence is. In addition the inability to stop cameroon from taking bakassi from the nation should also point to your level of influence. Let's not forget Ecowas taken up Nnamdi Kanu case against your FG and dropping every objections from your government to drop the case should equally show you the level of your nation's influemce. Therefore the grandiose statement is just hilarious. Or where yoruba think they have the ability to influence anything in terms of Biafran economy. You are aware the only reason igbo stay in lagos is because of Nigeria correct? You are aware throughout histiey, our ancestors stayed far away from yoruba as they get. In fact the only interactions ignore and yoruba had prior to european existence is through my side of igbo land and that wasn't us seeking your people out but your people coming to us. When the first biafra occurred majority migrated out of lagos on their droves and the trading focused within the minorities and neighboring African nation aka cameroon, etc. Funny that was the same trading pattern our ancestors used before whites came and destroyed their beauty. Therefore what makes you think Lagos or Yoruba will have any impact on biafran growth were there are several other people around us that is the same thing we will get from y'all. Get off the high horse. It does not fit you.

Baba Ramo,
You are always on point!

Did you read the lectures on Awo's 30th? If you didn't, Yoruba does not need to recreate the wheel.

Few months ago every Ibo on the street and at every layer of social strata were excited and clamouring for Biafra. The more Nigeria opposed it the louder their cry for Biafra. The opposition feeds a frenzy that raises Biafran worth and makes it appear a valuable and prized goal. All of a sudden that ceiling dropped and Yoruba and Fulani are now reviewing the options and in fact encouraging Kanu to lead Ibos to their desired Biafran sovereingty. On the Ibo side we begin to see division, realities are setting in and they become jittery of the possibility of their split and slide from a position of known advantage to that of unknown risks.

The first casualty will be osus
Next will be mega traders
After that will be civil servants
Then those who leased lands for real estate
Coming after them will be private sector workers
....and so on and so forth.

Examples abound all over the world how real and imagined properties of a nation are divested along with its nationality.

These Ibos open threads on social ideas and inject ethnic flavors into it deliberately. They do it because they know Yorubas are political animals and will start analyzing and contributing points. They take these points as inputs for their think tanks to formulate approaches and responses to issues they are untested in.

So i suggest say less, swallow his insult and dodge his challenges.

For anyone interested in knowing what percentage of Ibos are for Biafra they should wait for referendum. If they call us liars and accuse us of coming short, so be it.... we'd rather come short and keep our strategies hidden than prove our worth and give opponents advantage.

For those curious how and what will happen to Ibo properties and business, Nigeria is not first country to dissolve, go into online records and get ideas.

True talk my brother. Adara fun e!

I encourage all Yorubas to pay attention to what Mayor said. Share this input with others. Ibos are lost in the confusion they have created for themselves. They are probing for ideas and chatter to use in formulating advantages. We help them when we talk. Our silence enrages them and they use all types of baits to get us into cage with them.

Our approach must change, they are inferior to us. Therefore we must address them with dismissal and non challant, treat them as dirt!

You are the narrow minded one here. Are you anyway justifying the quota system that is prevalent in Nigeria? Are you saying that creating a system where meritocracy reign is evil? Imagine the system that is Nigeria today..... So you mean you are fine with the system that encourages nepotism over merit and qualification. I'm beginning to think you are one of the product of quota system....... shocked I have much to say, but let me keep calm for now.

That's the issue! You guys needs to get your space. I support all you said but also the other major tribes still want a Welfarist state. I know culturally, the Igbo does not have a Welfarist system but a highly Capitalistic one. The truth is; Nigeria system and structure is not for Igbo and Igbo's are not meant for Nigeria. We must blame Lugard for lumping a Narrow-minded culture with a robust one. Anytime it borders on Systems, you guys hardly speak about the Welfarism of the inhabitants but the narrowness of how its not favoring you. And that even reverberates to the best of you guys.
Why not agitate for the Cancelation of the Quota System? Why not agitate on issues? Must a whole lot of people always carry about a air of Victimhood? Why always clamor for disbandment any time something is amidst?
There are either two major issues her; either the Igbo nation is being hampered by a Welfarist state or they're just immatured lots. You can't be clamoring for secession on one hand and agitate for a system change on the other. You need to identify first with System Change and only after years of agitation without having it can you clamor for secession. But, if you clamor for secession and now want system change; that's like a people suffering from myopia or just a Blackmailing people! Let's identify your agitation; a System change or Secession?

We cannot decide on NL. A referendum like done in civilised places will settle this question of who wants a seperate country, confederacy or whatever.

The next step is getting the FG to come to its senses and organise one. Everybody including other Nigerian ethnic groups will be better off and tension will ease tremendously

Our leaders and youth have already done this. I only answered you because your post about Igbos "deciding"was painfully ignorant

Oya educate yourself-

http://leaders.ng/56-years-after-independence-ohanaeze-ndigbo-says-nigeria-cannot-be-united/

Igbo leaders under the aegis of Ohanaeze Ndigbo rose from a meeting in Owerri, Imo State yesterday with a warning that the unity of Nigeria would continue to be threatened unless justice and fairness were ensured and regretted that Nigeria as a nation had not done well to champion the unity of the country 56 years after independence.
This is as groups comprising civil society, socio-cultural, religious and community based organisations drawn from the South East and South South zones called for an early referendum on the report of the 2014 National Conference.
The meeting which was held at the Imo International Convention Center (IICC), Owerri, Imo State started at about 4pm and rose by 9pm with governors of Imo, Abia attending while the deputy governor of Enugu State represented her state governor while those of Ebonyi and Anambra States took permission.

Now the question is after calling for referendum, what other practical political steps have they taken after the merriment and jamboree where they asked for referendum?
Let your political leaders in Abuja and elsewhere including the governors key into it!!
Start calling all your folks across Nigeria back home, let Nigerians see some semblance of seriousness to your desire

After seeing evidence that our kings, governors, political leaders etc have asked for a referendum in front of the world you are still asking kindergarten questions.

Argue with your keypad I did not start this topic to entertain childish gist. Only serious discussions allowed cool

Name the governors and political leaders.
I'm not here to engage you in frivolities You want me to give you referendum,
I will be glad you are gone. If the choice is entirely mine, you would have gone since and most of your would have become illegal immigrants in the SW. I'm tired of reading about how a 'Nigerian' is caught in one foreign country or the other in Asia on daily basis.

I love this write up.

Igbos need more of such editorials both online and offline. Ohaneze should flood all media outlets with editorials like this.

Let the discussion begin.

You are just rambling in a circle. Can I ask you some basic questions base on your response.

Why did your Nigerian Government invade our land when we resolved to be on our own in the 60s?
Why do your military continuously shoot unarmed protesters in this current time, if you truly want to see the Igbos out?
Why did you gerrymandered Igboland to areas they are currently minorities, because they possess oil in abundance?
If you think that we don't know what we want, why do you guys get worked up and threaten war when we talk about secession?
Finally, why is the 2014 confab report trashed by your god, Buhari......? I believe you have an answer to this.

At the bold, how do you mean blackmailing. From what the OP presented, backed with statistics, would you call that blackmailing, or facts presentation?

Answer these questions, then I'll calmly tell you my position, and I believe that my position echoes the majority feelings of my people, in regard to secession or system change.

Abegi, what do you really want; that your matters be addressed or that you get your 'Eldorado'? We all know there are questions about many anomalies in Nigeria and I want an agitation that is gonna address these questions. But, if these your questions are the reasons for your agitations, then you guys are the cheapest blackmailers on earth!
(1) Why not tell us all that you want Revenge and maybe we can see if you'll get it. Maybe you guys should just tell us that you want 3Million Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba to die at a Fell Swoop so that you can be pacified. I can assure you that another Civil War can help you get that; declare a war of vengeance.
(2) Or you can agitate that Nigeria declare May 30 a Civil War memorial day. I tell you, I am commemorating that day specially too.
(3) Call that the anomaly in Unity Schools be addressed. Champion it and people will reason with you.
(4) Call that we get a Confederacy, clamor for it massively and you'll get it if you can articulate the pros and cons.
(5) Or ask for Presidency in a decent manner. Stop thinking a threat will get you that; it won't work.
(6) Or ask for your Biafra and save us all these alternating noises. Let's know if you really want out or you want questions answered. Save us all your emotional embarrassment.

N.B: The First and Last are actually very achievable but at great prices! The two are what you guys have always cry over and maybe you need to check what your biases are.

Still on an infinite loop. Listen up, you asked a question, and I gave you a condition for your questions to be answered, which is base on concise answers to the questions I raised.Just stop shouting on my ears, if you don't have answers to my questions.
Those gibberish garbage you spilled is completely off my radar. They don't answer my questions, and I'm done with you.
