Dear All, please I have another question. My older sister has a Bachelors degree from University of Ilorin, however, she got into Ilorin with IJMB which means she spent 3 years in school and she wants to nominate a Skill 1 level occupation which requires an AQF Bachelors Degree. Please has anyone had a similar case and got a Bachelors equivalent for qualification? Thank you

Mr Bellong, its good to hear that you are now in the field of Psychology and Criminology. I hope to apply to the University of Sydney for a Masters by Research in Clinical Psychology and God willing go on to complete my Phd. I shall holla you Sir from time to time on topical matters as it relates to Psychology and human services. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Don't limit your application to one University. Postgraduate study for psychology is usually very very competitive because of the requirements to practice. Apply to as many schools as you can.
Practising psychology here is rewarding both in pay and satisfaction. You are on the right path.
Once you finish your Masters, apply for full registration with the psychology board to get your licence to practice.

As per your sister, what course?

If it is an occupation assessed by vetasses, even with a four year degree, unilorin is usually assessed to be equal to associate.

Here, in this house we don't encourage agency but if you are super interested you may credit my account with naira equivalent of 520AUD for a start, I will link you up with a faithful agent whose charges will not be neck breaking.

Because I don't want to use agent that's why I am asking for help here.

I officially completed the final survey today which puts to an end, my two year moral obligation living in South Australia.

Now, I can move ahead to explore other states in the nearest future.... smiley wink smiley

Congratulations!

May God continue to bless you abundantly in the land. You have been a source of inspiration to many on this thread and your kind disposition reminds me of the expression "a candle loses nothing by lighting another candle." I look forward to meeting you someday smiley

@mamajaz Longest time! Please chat me up. Lost my phones recently and I have not been able to restore most of my contacts from back-up.

Words cannot express how much I appreciate all your greetings, goodwill messages, prayers and well wishes.

May the good Lord prosper you all and make your dreams come true. Those still waiting for ITA, may it come sooner than expected.

@Ozymigrant,

You have written more than I deserve... Thanks for the compliments. We brought nothing to this world and we shall take nothing back...
You were only lucky the person I got the money from gave me a tip cheesy, others have not been so generous...

It is always a pleasure being of help if it is within my capacity to do.... May your road be rough as my secondary school principal used to pray for us.

@Alphadoor,

South Australia is a nice place for raising family. It is relatively quiet and peaceful compared to the Lagos of Australia (Sydney).
Life is beautiful here and you have access to every basic things of life.... However, getting a job as a new arrival may be very challenging. It is why I don't encourage people to choose the state except it is the last option.

@Mamajaz,

Thanks... I am lucky too for having such a beautiful Mind for a soulmate.

Tomorrow is the remembrance of her arrival to this world.....

@bellong
That prayer sounds familiar. Did you go to Mayflower School?

So I had to ruminate over this prayer for hours......it's really a tricky one.

Last last I had to say amen as I trust it came from a wise one (oro agba).

Congrats @ bellong for the completion of your 2 year survey.

It gladdens the heart seeing honest Nigerians out there presenting Nigeria in a good light. Indeed you are one of such Nigerians.

May the good Lord continue to order your steps.

I believe the day has rolled over in OZ. So lemme be the first to say Happy Birthday to your lucky wife.

"He that findeth a wife findeth a good thing". She that findeth a noble man like you findeth a precious jewel so she's lucky!

The Lord bless her new age and may she continue to be "aridunnu" ( joy to behold) for you and the family. AMEN

The source was Late Pa Tai Solarin impressed on one Mr Oluwole Kujore, former principal of Mayflower secondary school and Ijebu-Ode Grammar School. I finished from the latter.

Prayer, like Sammywemmy explained, it takes fire for gold, diamond etc to come out shinning. So in essence, means May God present before you experiences that will bring out the gold/diamond in you.
