Mynd44:Was Nnamdi Azikiwe a godfather? What ever that might mean? I think he was and so the idea that that won't work in Eboe land is wrong. What has happened now is a lack of political discipline and general disorderliness. Let someone tell me one word of intelligence that ha come out of mouth of the likes of Orji Uzor Kalu for one day. Now anyone that has money is a leader in Eboeland And Is Not disciplined enough To Be subordinate To another person To Me that Is Disorderliness And unruliness Not Egalitarianism |

Few things: 1) We do not need any dumb alliance with any devil to make it. 2) Wake up to the fact that there is ZERO hope for this contraption as it is currently structured. 3) All round Self-assertion is the way to go for the Igbos. 4) It's time to isolate, assert and master. That's the key to self-sufficiency. China did it. Australia did it. Singapore did it. The Jews have been doing it forever. Bleep the Nigerian politics. This is a global village. 5) Harness your stregnths, entrench your idividuality, assert your self-sufficiency, and all will court your attention. 6) You cannot synergize interdependently with folks who think you are needy. 7) Bleep the local synergy. Prove ALL your mockers wrong FIRST. Succed WITHOUT their alliance. That's the way to go for the Igbos. Afam4eva: |

Afam4eva:Guy you didnt have to throw in those jabs at the SS, it completely polluted your good write-up. In politics, there are no friends or enemies, there are only permanent interests, and to achieve these interests, allies are needed, as many allies as possible. Nobody is too big or too small to be an ally and no region is too far or too close or too 'different in ideology' to be an ally. Once again in politics, no region owes any other region anything, be it gratitude or whatever. To achieve your interests, you need allies, and there has to be something tangible in the bag for the allies, else they dont owe anybody anything. |

pchukwudi:Beautifully presented. This is exactly what we need. A cultural revolution that will activate sustainable economic growth. Hasty Political Alliance will only entrenched their diabolical game of divide and rule further. |

nku5:All these because a Yoruba is at the helm. What happened to the times Igbo formed alliances with the north to rule Nigeria ? Did you see the Yoruba whine up n down. Like one person said imagine if it was the Igbo that lost Abiola n his mandate Nigeria will be undergoing another civil war by now. Stop the victim mentality, it is annoying. |

Shawnnn01:Where were you when the Yorubas attacked the Igbos vehemently on social platform after the loss of GEJ? Were you roosting when your PMB made the infamous 5% statement? .......... I can go on and on. The Igbos currently don't need any godamn alliance. Nigerians have taught us a bitter lesson, in terms of universal suffrage; The Lagoon threat is still vivid in the picture, and if others of my tribe’s men should see in my prism, a return to regional/ethnic balance is what the entire Igbos need now. We will play it safe, at the regional level, by electing credible candidates who possess the character and quality, both intellectually and morally to represent us..... Whoever mount the throne in Aso Rock, is meaningless, as long as underdevelopment and cultural crisis still persist in Igboland. We cannot keep going on and on a circle and tag it political sophistication. |

The bottomline is until the South can forge an alliance, Northern hegemony is what we have to adjust to. The SS generally distrust and dislike Igbos. As for the SW, for me, the dislike and suspicion is stronger on the Igbo side. Yorubas are for the most part indifferent and aren't nearly as bitter as Igbos are. But the tragedy is the division in the South is what has strengthened the North. A united South could have even further consolidated their power by reaching out to form alliances with the Middle Belt, who distrust the core North. |

They Jettisoned the PDP idea of rotational presidency between north and south so by 2015, the SE would have produced the president. Stop talking nonsense. PDP nationally jettisoned the rotational presidency idea, Ndiigbo couldn't have influenced it, even if we wanted. GEJ won the PDP primaries by winning over the PDP delegates from the entire Six geopolitical zones of Nigeria. SE delegates alone couldn't have made GEJ the 2011 PDP presidential candidate. Stop creating villain out of Ndiigbo. |

Obi1kenobi:A strategic thinker must get enough facts before forming opinions. The same reason no one can unite with Eboes is the same reason Eboes cannot unite with Eboes. The Eboe in my experience and interaction with him has one drive. TO BE THE FIRST. Many nonEboes who don't understand him resent him for that but that is how he relates to his fellow Eboes . I better pass my neighbour is an Eboe way of life. . The Eboe man will accept 2nd position for money or power and they have always done this in Nigeria politics and that is why they have never been in opposition before now but that tells others they can be bought. Nnamdi Kana can and will be bought because every thing he is doing is about NNAMDI KANU |

Obi1kenobi:You need to read this. I won't be going round in limbo sharing blames n bitterness. The entire South is in a limbo as to how to usurp power from the north. We claim to have the brain and the numbers but lack the initiative to make it happen. I see people proffering way forward not whining about things that are not redeemable which is what so many of you Igbos with limited foresight do daily forgetting that is not the solition to the problem. Bro act like you have something to contribute to this discuss. If you do not shut it n stop polluting the space, let those with the mental capability to move us all forward do the talk. Read n learn. I have been following the thread without polluting it. I can see Nigerians with the mental capabilities to bring about change based on ideas discuss. They are discussing how to make a bad system work. How to drill what could be beneficial to you and I from this quagmire called Nigeria. They are not demanding goal post change like you expected. No one deserves any favour, people like you need to learn to work within a bad system and learn to make it work please.

|

aribisala0:Stop these lies.... 1999 We voted Obasanjo instead of Alex Ekwuemek, our own son. 2003, we still voted for Obasanjo, by passing other politicians from Eastern extraction 2007 we voted Yar 'Adua combo with Jonathan. 2011 we repeated the same feat. 2015, we did the same thing, regardless of the consequenses lots of us saw ahead of time. How do this voting pattern translate to "I better pass my neigbor" according to you? Going through your post, you're trying hard to be free from your usual tribal posts and position.... but please, don't peddle lies against us, as record is there to prove you wrong. |

Shawnnn01:The usual victim game play. You made a point in regard to my ethnic group, and I responded to you accordingly. I possess the sole right to contribute to this discuss, as you are not, and I repeat the sole custodian of solution. As a Nwafor Igbo, I'm in tune to what ails my region. The solution I'm submitting here is unique, to the unique problem that is facing my people. not those hogwash that completely serves as a smoke screen to continue the never ending loop of underdevelopment and backwardness. Please, save your sermon to yourself. You lack the capacity to engage me without resorting to insults and lies that is your hallmark. I will not wish to engage you further, because that will be a total consumption of my precious time. Please, keep off my mention....else. |

tinsel:What is S'S? How old are you? Stop mixing things up Today Delta and Edo are part of So called SS. but were not part of the Eastern Region. Eboes must learn to take responsibility for their actions. In the Eastern region the Eboes sought to dominate everyone and pretended to the rest of Nigeria that Eastern Nigeria was an Eboes zone which unfortunately the North supported Zik because it allowed them suppress Northern minorities. Naturally the Eastern minorities resented this and took revenge when they could, no one taught them. Instead of being conciliatory Eboes continue their aggressive bullying arrogant approach. The reality is the Eboes are a minority tribe in Nigeria and used the other Eastern minorities to project themselves as bigger than they really are |

aribisala0:This is exactly my point. You can never hide from your shadow. A tribalist will always remain a tribalist. See your life? Minorities indeed. Mr. Man, where are your statistics? Where are your numbers to back your claim? "The Devil is a liar and the father of all liars". Stop lying, it won't help your course. |
