a recent occurrance lead to my nay nay to peganism and there ways


few year back a lady was accused in enugu state for killing her boyfriend in a hotel they both lodged in

despite her stand on innocence ...she was forced to swear bfo the shrine .


she swore to the truth of her innocence saying that she dies if be found guilty by the local gods.

guess what

a week later she died

she wasnt given a befitting burial ...her name was tarnished


now just yesterday a man sick in bed at anambra general hospital confessed to killing the boy out of envy for his success at onitsha main market ..trust nigerian police ..he was bundled out of bed straight to d police station for murder..


now comes the question

was the god of iwollo oye enugu state a liar or was there a tweek to the ladies oat ?

can human beings alter oats in secret?

but even if its true, does one swearing and dying on the aforementioned date actually prove without doubt that the swearing did

can't one die normally on said date even without swearing? its not like we know specifically when we'll die, if that were the case, then dying on said date would've proven it

but in this case we don't have enough information to make a conclusion except make guesses albeit probably right guesses

sorry bro, I wasn't in anyway trying to win this argument or lose it, I'm just discussing to show that coincidences happen a lot and the human brain tries its possible best to go for the easiest explanation (Occam's Razor)

but what I'm tryna show however is that there are exceptions

Exactly what I keep saying, everyone believes in something does that make it true? I believe there is no God(especially Allah, Ra and the one in the bible) isn't that belief? faith? doesn't it keep me going? or should I be scared I am going to be condemned in a lake of fire while you would be shouting 'Hallelujah to the most high' all your 'after life? In this modern age that we can even travel to the moon and other planets? And you would be condemning your village barbaric tradition, when you are in the same boat. My dear free yourself from church(mental) slavery and help people do the same.

Seriously I just wonder all the money and effort going into the church, pastors and their private jets, mosques, imam, vatican... what it would have done for this world. Chai! Money ritual? Forget it ni. Why is it not everyone who goes into it that is prosperous? It's like testimony in church, one success is another mans downfall. Theory of luck! Out of a thousand prayers one will be answered and you will say na God. The people that make success in the so called money ritual are very ambitious people that will work hard when given the opportunity, that's why their business bloom. Well the lazy man...that's for the roadside, they are either killed off or threatened. It's the truth, if you really think that sacrificing body parts will make you rich, then you also believe that praying will make you rich. All false! it all depends on you!
