You see reason why we should not quick to blame some men that beat their wife, If to say that man don tear her slap like 5 times her brain go don set..
Beating would've solved this one, she went into the marriage with the mindset to control man.

Exactly, Even the lady said she said no man can control her and if you did not take it hard with them they won't fear you..

I did not support domestic violent, But sometimes when some wife want to overreact they need resetting slap..

Why tag FIN in this post anyway? I don't see the necessity. Or are you saying that she nags because she is a member iff FIN?

People fail to understand purpose and therefore misunderstanding is always very imminent. FIN group on Facebook is not a family training group, it's not a religious group or a moral instructing group, no. It is basically and solely a women's support group. Where women are thought how to show pure love to fellow women, to stand up for each other no matter who or where you are coming from.

Your post is laced with bitterness, are you among those kicked out of the group? Let me tell you dear, FIN is a support group for women, where women are encouraged to share their stories by themselves and instead of the harsh, victim attitude such women would have received outside the reverse is the case in there. Also It's not by force to be in the group too, if you feel like many others that what is happening there does not conform to your values, you can quietly leave.
Women are not bashed in there, they are showed love and even if you should be corrected it is done with love and care. They don't in anyway encourage women to nag or turn bad in their family (it's not their duty anyway or business how you live your life at home).
I see all of you FinSis
I think you are being economical with the truth over the stuff going on in that group. I don't give a damn about what goes on there anyway

I posted that in a hurry. I was saying beating wouldn't have solved their problem. Divorce would've been the best pet. That lady had the wrong mindset before going into marriage. No thanks to her mum

i guarantee it aint that easy. Issues will join you. Especially when third party is involved. - children. Which she would use as a tool to get at you. Now will you ignire your oen kids in your own home as well?

Best thing is to walk away... or find your peace outside. Little wonder some married men have a complete family outside their matrimonial home. Only when they die do their wives know and then she will start regretting..

Wehdone kweenkong..

By their name you shall know dem..

Just so you know. The good/bad news for ladies now is that Men are now d ones that stay in marriages to make things work and for sake of their kids. Unlike old days where the woman is the home maker, Condoning the shits thrown at her by her husband. Very soon. Women go dey marry two man put dem for house. But dony be quick to slay the woman. She has nothing to lose or gain. She shared a story she felt people like you and I should learn from.

If you want a fair understanding, then your firsy statements depict otherwise cos it wasnt fair in the assessment.

Hope we all find peace in cohabitation or otherwise. grin grin grin grin grin grin

kweenkong:
Op wehdone Sir abi Ma.
1) first of all she nagged her husband to cheat cos he hates polygamy. Odiegwu I hear you. Why did she not nag him to steal or be celibate. Abeg another story teller trying to garner sympathy. Why didn't he leave. Like we tell women to do he had a choice. Your mental well being or trying to save a marriage. And to all that are quick to jump to conclusion it won't hurt to understand what FIN is about. And before you shout feminist I am all for a fair understanding of situation.

Its called narcissism bro.. ask her today and she still feels shit. Have u heard comments like "na him go kill hinself o" its like saying a witch kill person and she go regret am. Mba.. impossicant

boxer022:
This is indeed a very touching story of what happens if you marry a bad wife. He tried all his best to bring peace into his home but the Jezebel of a wife did not want it. She said her mum advices her to do such a thing and now the result is out. He is dead. What did she gain from all she did, what will she tell her children when they ask her what happened to their father. Now she is a widow whether she likes it or not. I pity for the family of the man. God keep his soul in paradise. As for the you the mediator, you tried your best to preach peace in his home but she refused the peace. When you see her ie the wife ask her if she is satisfied with her achievement of driving her husband to and early grave.
Re: Females In Nigeria (F.I.N) Facebook Member, Nags Husband To Death by Frankcastle: 9:29am On May 17, 2017
Proud FIN member. On your second statement, lets put it like this. You say he should have understood his wife. Let's play d what if game. What if he didnt have that money on that day and was expecting something from a deal or friend or somebody else. What if he wasmt even going to be able to have that party at that time. What if she actually walked up to him to say. Babe, i want to have children picnic etc. Do you feel we can afford it now or we should put that money into a trust for the kids? What if she hadnt naghed him and just accepted that she would collwct the money on wednesday?

On your first point. FIN may be a good place to learn and encourage each other but we must also know that for every association, some people will see the group as promoting their own self interests rather than actuakly learning. And how do you learn from a group that gives undying support regardless of the issues and incidents. Beats me. If you have kids. Do you verify their stories before you actually call out someone they claimed to ave hurt them. Even courts and the world always verify stories before pronouncing judgement but Obviously FIN does not. If a member comes and lies or even tells the truth from her perspective, you just support so she continues her ways. Well what if that way was the wronf path. As you say FIN supports blindly, for me it shows that the foundational ideology of the group is that all women are right no matter what! But can that be true?

I agree with all you said but just another perspective to it. Pls be careful even as you learn from the FIN group.

chris4vic:
Seriously I'm a proud member of FUN! The best group where you can borrow yourself brain on how not to kill yourself.
1. Most time either wife or husband should know that no one enjoy "nagging" I am not saying what the woman did is right at all. If she had come to FIN to learn and have fun I swear she won't continue "nagging" I can nag and being judgemental for Africa but when I became FIN member my life changed completely why NAG when you can actually do waka pass?
2. Look at it this way, the woman wanted to do children picnic so husband insisted she should wait till Wednesday and He knew d kind of woman she is..... not judging d dead he should have given her the money and have peace.... Abu money wey you go still give even if you don't have write the chq and let her know money no dey d account.... there are alot of things we can actually avoid oooo
3. Why would a man or woman not just try as much as possible to understand his or her spouse?

May God Grant him peaceful rest o

I am a FIN member and I see All Finsters worldwide

2 Timothy 3:1-7
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions

And this is exactly what is happening.

The world is going to shit.

Men are no longer heroes. Women are no longer humble. Everyone is looking for how to please themselves, what they can get. They profess to love but in actual fact all they want is to take, take take. Thats what they call love. When its time to give they have nothing to offer.

FIN is a women only Facebook group created to change the culture of silencing women. It is a well known fact that women in this part of the world are used to "suffering in silence". FIN is here to change that. It is a group that provides support for women. All sort of "issues" are raised in FIN... Real life stories and challenges that women go through. It is a group where women come together to share their victories, pains, challenges and joy.........

When you have a group with close to a million people, there must be laid down rules and regulations that guide that group, else the aim of that group is defeated.. In FIN group you do not:
1. You do not make insensitive and harsh comments ( It is common sense for every well cultured human being to know this)
2. You do not give religious advice ( it is a group of close to a million women and I like to imagine there might be more than 5 different religions + some women might be irreligious) Imagine if everyone gives their own religious advice.... You become confused right? ...
3. You do not give unsolicited advice unless the poster asks for one( again I think this is common sense...) If a person needs advice they will reach out.
4. You do not share a woman's story on your Facebook wall or anywhere.. It is her story to tell and only she can truly give answers to the questions that may arise....

A friend added me to FIN group about 7 months back and I'll briefly describe my experience..
1. I have read a lot of true life experiences that has helped me to make better and informed choices.
2. I have seen women reach out to other women who have similar issues( e.g I've seen a courageous woman speak out on her experience having a child with special needs and you'll be shocked the number of women who know they are not alone and reach out too)
3. I have learnt not to judge people because except they tell you their story.... you are always wrong about them.

With this epistle of mine.. I hope I've been able to convince you that FIN is one of the best things that happened to Facebook. ( if not for FIN wetin consine me consine facebook). It is not true that it is a lesbian's group or they teach women to disrespect their husbands.. FIN teaches LOVE an TOLERANCE.

I SEE YOU SIS... and I hear you too. ( Disclaimer: I am not an admin... I'm just a group member worried about this erroneous information on FIN)
