Hello guys,

Please I need your advice and/or help on the best research topic I can choose between these three....

I was my denied sorry delayed my visa on Friday and the agbaawos of nairaland advise that I should reload. So I want to package my story with a professor research topic ongoing in the school based on my course of study BUSINESS AND MANAGERIAL ECONOMICS .

Also if anyone know of any professor in etsu, please help

The research topics below;

1. Managerial economic analysis of operating a retail store in a city core versus in an outlaying area

2. Why is downsizing not resulting in wage increase to remaining employees?

3. Citizens with disabilities act and it's managerial effect in Business

Visa denied yesterday.

3 things that nailed you:

• volunteering of unnecessary information
• little knowledge of what you want to study..... ADN is ADN, what's pre-nursing?
• missing the questions asked entirely.

It's God at the end of it all, I prayed to God and emptied my pocket in church last Sunday and told God to help me this week and he did.

Haba God is more than what you gave from your pocket. You merit the visa and you got. Next time you might empty everything, even borrow join and nothing will happen. However, it's a good feeling to get the visa.

Well you might have a point but then I don't think selfish is the right word to use, additionally we all have different battles and struggles. Schooling abroad is not as easy as we used to think it was, people are busy and you cant blame them if they don't come here to help. People coming here to help out, do this because this place is like a family and they are attached even though it is a forum where you barely know anyone in real life. For me, even when I am busy, I still find time to read nairaland because I have been so attached/addicted and no info is irrelevant. We all learn everyday. So in summary, nobody owes anybody, life is a phase. The days of bigfranc, imperiox drdolittle, kpollii, ojapp etc have passed, ours will soon pass and the onus will rest on people after us to keep the thread alive, you don't expect to keep seeing same set of people here forever

I'm with you guys in spirit even when not physically here. Life struggle is a serious thing. Preping for my starting date, OT shift at work and family is time constraining. Anyways, I'm happy to be here with you guys whenever I've the chance.

Please I need to know what I need to do to relocate to the US. I have a relative who is a citizen and a goverment worker. Can I go with the Vist visa and get to extend it over there. I want to work and go to school there. Dropped out of the Uni so no degree. If I can . Approximately how much is the whole thing going to cost

Visitor's visa is really hard to obtain especially if you're a single unemployed young guy under 35. Immigration intent is spelled all over you already as you have no 'strong ties' to bring you back to Nigeria. In this regard, the student visa may be easier to get but you have no UG degree and that makes it difficult for you. You may try applying for UG transfer admission (applying for admission with whatever years of UG education you did already, and they place you in like 2nd or 3rd year, for example, after you arrive) and try your luck. Age is another factor for the UG visa as the vos generally don't like granting visas to UG students over 22/23 years especially if you've been out of school for a while. I would assume you're above 22/23, but it is not impossible though to get your student visa for UG studies at a mature age. I've seen it happen in a few cases in the past. It could work.

In summary, go for the F1 student visa instead.

Pleas help.

I sent money to my friend in the US to help with payment of my SEVIS, but when the Western Union agents tried, they got a prompt that the SEVIS ID had already been used.

I have not used this SEVIS ID before. Can you please advise on the line of action.

Thanks

Funny enough this issue is just miss interpretation of words. I only stated those information not in anyway to deny your information which is true. Indeed getting a GA:TA is not easy but I only said that to explain tho i did not get the GA i got something else. Its not a quarelling stuff, i never insulted you nor say u were lying. I said something innocently and someone is insulting honestly i am pained because this was never my intention of insulting someone

This is the concise version. Guys help fine tune. #Gracias
VO: Why dis you choose UNH,
Me: I choose unh cos it offers CIS with concentration in AI n robotics together with well structured curricula. also has AI n robotics forum where prof, alumni and student share there Findings, issues and solution which I already joined. current research by prof wheeler ruml in "Method for heuristic search and planning especially in robotics" align with my
interest and will help improve my machine decision making n heuristic search for my long term goal of building expert system to diagnose health issues.

I can guarantee you won't even say half of this before the VO cuts in with another question cuz they don't have time and they get bored easily with long stories Lol. Cramming is not the way to go. Just stay prepared to avoid being thrown off balance with an unexpected question. All the best bro grin

Congrats bro. The Chinese guy interviewed me too some days back and he wasn't as strict as people portrayed him. You just have to be prepared and tell him things that makes sense. I got my visa approved by him too.

Congrats... Please don't forget to drop your transcript for others to learn one or two things. I wish you all the best in your journey ahead
