Guys please answer me.am begging. After masters pgd or college programme, will we be given 2years working visa??

Hello,
After any two years post grad program, one is eligible for a 3 years post grad work permit.

1 year program = 1 year work permit

Austinpee4:

Most visas(TRV) issued often times last for the duration of your program as filled in your study permit application. It also cannot be issued beyond the expiration of your passport.

So there is no standard rule or duration to visa issuance. It is solely for your entry and exit during your study period. You can always extend it. Your study permit duration is the main document. Extension of your TRV too will be dependent on your study permit duration.

The duration of my own program is not specified. On their site they made mention that most candidates finish in 4 terms. But in my letter to be taken to CIC they notified 6 terms.

Thought as much. It should have a condition of returning home after study.

Let the funding come first, returning home isn't an issue

Today is that day the glory of God is revealed.

I just got a mail from CIC requesting for my passport.
Without any request for proof of fund transfer...it can only be Oluwa! He's fully involved.

I am just overjoyed.

A big thank you to TheSoj for reviewing my SOP and documents and guiding me on my application generally.

Justwise I am very grateful for your input and for this platform of knowledge.

Thank you.

Will share more details later

Congrats. Please when did you apply and your level of study? Details pls

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Teepee85: 2:20pm On May 31, 2017
Hello house,

Please I have a question to ask concerning my intended program of study in Canada. i am a 31yrs old guy. A 2.2 graduate of English from a university in Nigeria. I have been working as a business executive 6yrs ago since i left school. In short, I own my own importing business now. I have traveled to China, UK, United State for Business and 2 other countries for visit. I want to apply for a global Business course in one of the Canadian college (since I had 2.2 I understand no Canadian uni will accept me). However, I understand the VO wont issue me visa because my first degree is not related to my intended course of study. Please how do I go about it. I have not been able to make any move because of this issue. please house, kindly advice your humble bro.

I heard they even have to that kind of verification.

But you should pray well for them not to verify.
Always better to make your bank statement available to them a day to or the same day to your app
sorry bro I don't understand the bolded please clarify and I'm not talking about statement of account I'm talking about the additional letter of assurance requested by CIC

if you can prepare your cv to align with your career and proof you have been continuously working in that line you can get study permit ,your course of study should relate either to your previous academic history or current career supported by I very tight sop

Don't let this be your worry. CIC wiłl definitely issue a visa that will cover the duration of your program if your passport duration covers the period. If it doesn't, a visa till the passport expiration will be issued when your application is approved

6 terms is also categorized under the two years master degree program. They understand their educational system better and will act accordingly. So relax.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Truce01: 3:29pm On May 31, 2017
Hello All,
Reading through this thread, I will like to make the following comments.
1. You can get admission and study visas with the following credentials; (3rd class, second class up or lower, masters degree) to any graduate program as long as you meet the school requirements and its in the same or similar fields of study.

2. Canadians aren`t overly excited about credentials, they value work experience much more.

3. If your primary goal is to immigrate and you don`t have enough money for a masters degree, then by all means go for grad certificate or diploma at any college.

4. Remember 1 year program = 1 year work permit, 2 years = 3 years work permit.

5. If you are in a relationship, I strongly suggest you go get married and have your marriage certificate before you leave for school. Your spouse can join you on an open work permit which will be valid for the same duration as your study permit

Please I need answers

Is he sponsoring you with the company account or his personal account?
He needs to write a strong support letter if sponsoring you with company account.
I dont think you need the CAC or tax clearance of the company since you are basically
an employee there. Include payslip for 6 months, your own SOA and an SOP.
By the way, what program are you going for and what was your first degree and what
do you do at your brother's company?
