TonyeBarcanista:Mr.,Barkanista. With due respect, we the Biafrans neither want nor need your vp nor presidency. All we want is freedom, Biafra. Save your Nigeria leadership seats for the North and their slaves in the west. |

I dare anyone to stop him from contesting if he so wishes! If a congolese 'll take this jungle out of the woods, bring it on! Enough of QUOTA rubbishness that has led us nowhere! |

Sensual:Your knowledge of politics is laughable. GEJ had a considerable support from the North and South West to win the 2011 election. Buhari was an ANPP candidate then. His party never had a chance in Yorubaland, so the votes that would have gone his way was shared between Ribadu (ACN) and GEJ (PDP). His Alliance with ACN gave him his 2015 triumph. Osinbajo doesn't stand a chance. In fact, not even against Nuhu Ribadu. And who told you majority of Nigerians hate Buhari? . I am not in support of him re-running tho. |

MayorofLagos:The Ijaw militants did worse than whatever IPOB guys are doing but they felt at home after Jonathan's VP ascension. SuperS1Panther:Quote me anywhere, the north will Support a North/East ticket ahead of North/SS or North/SW. Even the SS will support a North/East ticket. Talking about the SEDC bill that was killed, wasn't the pro SW Lagos Bill killed as well? You forget so soon? Personally, I had also wanted the NEDC bill killed and NDDC Act repealed. |

If the Lord has ordained it that Acting President Osinbajo will become the President in 2019, no one can change it. Nigerians are solidly behind him only if he can convince us. The man has the pedigree, honesty, character and the energy Zoning has been failing us since donkey years We need capable hands, capable brains and energetic president who know what he is doing. He can come from anywhere not some 'goro' chewing slowpoke who will be ruling 200m people with sentiment |

i wonder why you people cant just stop provoking the sound of war Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we. if PMB fails in 2019 will Nigeria be ungovernable ?you know what i mean |

TonyeBarcanista:DO you think North is stup1d to all their statements? Do you think they are not waiting to repay them back? the dagger is drawn between them and us based on their hate speeches. Maybe you studied Political science but you do not know politics and the art of it. If PMB re-contest in 2019, forget it there is no credible northerner whether living or dead that can has his support base. Also remember that Politics rewards Loyalty. For now just sit down and watch. |

TonyeBarcanista:Tonye, I initially condemned your opinion, then doing a political mathematics based on your suggestion, I would say for political justice to prevail in a country like ours that places priority on political balancing act than effective leadership, i submit to your suggestion. A North-East ticket is what will douse and appease frayed nerves. The irony of a nation. |

MrSly:Yes we need Biafra but before then, Nigeria must be restructured and Igbos rule. If these 2 aren't granted, bye bye to one Nigeria Tonyebarcanista take note of the stand of the majority |

Kathmandu:My sentiments when I read the piece. I would have believed he was trying to put forward an objective argument, if he hadn't tried so hard to badmouth the VP/Acting President. That was totally unnecessary in making his point. Which suggests that there is more to this than meets the eye. |

omohayek:Okay, consider this example: Let's say we go for a credible and detribalized Nigerian like Okonjo Iweala in 2019 and she gets elected. Then after 8 years, another credible candidate rise from the East, are we also going to vote for him/her solely based on credibility?? See, the truth is ONE NIGERIA is a fluke without the zoning policy. I hate it, but it can't just be avoided. |

What is wrong with these people? Why are people like this for God's sake? On another rare occasion we have someone who seems to have a national appeal (another one being his principal PMB, at least when he started off), and yet some people have already started stoking up North vs South and South vs East... Why do we do this to ourselves in this country? The Ag President comes across as one who knows his onions and is widely loved not coz of his tribe or faith but by the strides he's being making, why can't we just allow the man take charge and let this country be better for the love of God? The time he would spend would also give our Eastern brothers the time necessary to mend broken fences with the North and West whose support they need if they are to rule this country since politics is indeed a game of numbers and schemes |

IgboAmakaa:I am not blinded with bitterness against them, They hate us and we equally hate them back in good measures. You cannot be preaching hate against others and be expecting love in return. Mba, kolewerk!!!!! Your actions and speeches against Yorubas has made us to draw the battleline with Igbos whether jews or xtians, we do not have any apology for that. Please bookmark the thread and call it up in future. |

krendo:Stop making it sound like GEJ was a better candidate. It was a choice we had to made, given the level of corruption and ineptitude perpetrated under him. With the level of excesses we had under GEJ, we should have recorded the most noteworthy progress in our entire national history. He didn't make sense when we had excess, how much difference would he have made when things went down ![]() |
