I SMELL WAR! SECOND CIVIL WAR. IF THERE WAS FIRST , NEXT TO IT IS SECOND. THE NORTH BELIEVE THE WARSHIP ACQUIRED BY GEJ ADMINISTRATION WAS FOR THE DEFENCE OF THE SOUTH SHOULD A WAR ARISE. AND OF COURSE, WITH THE AIRFORCE FORMATION ALL IN THE NORTH, THEY HAVE TO COUNTER THAT MIGHT. How could you propose to buy such weapon on a war that you acknowledged has been won and enemy technically defeated? NIGERIANS, PLEASE PREPARE FOR SOMETHING BIG! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Shebi they court martialed and sentenced a CHRISTIAN soldier to death a few days ago ..... Meanwhile the ones that wiped out over 500 shiite women and children and the ones that killed protesters in the south east have been left to go on with their lives. Thats how the Nigerian government shows concern for human rights abuse. 8 Likes |

Russian and German weapons are much more affordable. I'll advise the FG to look in other directions, the U.S is not the only specialist on weapons. |

The same US that bombed chinese embassy and claimed its a mistake? Despite the fact that they have the best trained pilots, and the plane is manufactured by them? So they did not believe our own story that the iDP camp bombing was also a mistake? |

Blue3k:Russian risk is not worth taking. El-zakyzaky is an iranian stooge...and iran is Russia ally. I think Trump will sell to naija because he care more about terrorism than so called human right. The number of Americans killed daily with guns are more than the number of syrians killed at the same time. Black americans are perpetually afraid of their police so I dont understand human right those senators are talking about. Saudis are bombing in yemen and some believe they are sponsoring terrorism...same with Qatar yet US sell weapon to them... Hypocrites. Time to stop taking orders from this people. ICJ have only tried Africans, time for Africans to pull out of it. Amnesty international only report African coutries... Nothing on Arabs and war torn mid east...time to get the imperalist out of our shore. Africa should develop her own laws and and stop being ordered around by these demagogs 1 Like |

All those shouting "Patronize China or Russia", I pity you people sha. This is the best decision taken by the US government to avoid the abuse of such machinery by our so called zombies in uniforms. Excellent news. These aircraft and over priced and not fit for purpose absolutely no need. What when should be doing is increasing our capacity in general infrastructure not over priced and over stated airframes. With a very restricted mission delivery. We have a massive trade deficit with Germany and a good relationship too. We still have massive infrastructure gaps in equipment, communications and hardware with our ground forces. The army still does not have a definite IFV and combatants are sitting ducks in those soft skinned pick up trucks and armed with antiquated AK47 without optic sights. Simply disgraceful. 2 Likes |

I'm impressed with the findings of the American senators. Nice evidence, but we're no supposed to think one sided. Your'e talking human rights when insurgency has claimed several thousands of life and still claiming. If America refuse to sell, some other countries like china, Russia even Israel are ready to sell. There'll be proper management on the use of the weapon. U claimed they killed Shiites islamic group, yes they are forming alliance at the time Nigeria is facing challenges of insurgency. Maybe u don't know that we have more Hausas in Nigeria army, but Sodiers are trained to protect the unity and security of the country. Our pledge says ".... To protect her unity and uphold her honour and glory, so help me God" |
