This is a new improved wristbangle we're seeing these days, lol tongue

Everyone should seek the path of peace but that path starts with fairness and justice, which seems never to be the case in Nigeria. Enough is enough. So-called elites who don't want progress can't continue to hold an entire nation down. It's one thing to be power-hungry but use it for development, it's another thing entirely when it's used to stagnate and retrogress.
You have chewed the kolanut on the right spot. I am often dazed that politicians in this country frame political discourse on power. "We want power, Power must remain with us, power must return to us, we must remain in power till... "

Ask them power for what? No idea. Power has become a toy in the hands of the kidults called politicians. The idea of power for power sake is a carry over from our military dictatorship laden past. I have never read or heard it in any political discussion by the Americans or British.

having said this, restructuring calls for general inputs of all the ethnic nationalities sitting on a sovereign national conference.
the main purpose is devolve more powers from the centre to enable constituent states or regions to be more competitive in their economic developments at their own pace. it will enable constituent units to have its own police system while army should be maintained by centre. it will enable each unit develop its own power source without recourse to national grid, embark on its infrastructural development without hinderance from centre these includes international airports and sea ports.it will enable state prospects and exploits for its natural resources and return 50% proceeding to the centre.

these obviously involve many areas of our national life but let me stop here.
It will introduce positive competition into our political space without undermining the integrity of this nation and it would reduce the outcry of marginalisation. If it is done Nigeria will enter into her manhood. The current set up makes us infantile, dependents looking up to the center for stipends.

The threat from the Parasitic northerners is not enough to provoke military action abi? too much hypocrisy in naija. If was a people from a certain region, Buhari dulldogs would have acted in the name of treason.

What threat are you talking about? Where was it contained?

Ensure you read the KD Declaration throughly before responding to avoid sounding ignorant.

Nigeria dares the militant saboteurs to try and subvert peace, law and order.

I am responding despite your juvenile tantrum as a public service to enlighten you.

You're clearly totally ignorant of the Land Use Act of 1990 which puts ownership of every drop of oil and other solid minerals under Nigeria's earth and waters in the hands of the Federal Government.

Now thank me and go and disinfect that mouth with Izal.
FG owns the oil but only northerners are fit to have the oil wells allocated to them, right? Over 80% of the 'juicy' oil wells are owned by northerners, and it's fair to you, abi? What happened to the principle of federal character on allocating the wells?

Had it been that Igbos are well treated in Nigeria all these things won't be happening.
I always get confused when tbe igbos claim to have been sidelined in Nigeria. How? By whom? Aint you one of the largest ethnic group in the country? Dont you have the right of political association and alignment as others do? Are you not having good businesses scattered all over the country more than any other tribe does? Who is not been cheated by the political elites in Nigeria?

Wasnt the Jonathan admininistration's kitchen cabinet dominated by the Igbos and how did that improve the lots of the common Igbos? Well things are fallen rightly into place and Biafra will see the light of the day if truly you want it. IGBOS should move back to the East from the North.... And Lagos too.

It is the president and his foot soldiers that need to calm down and allow peace to take over, why up till today none of those idiots have been picked up by security agents? Because them be mallam abi, look the president should jettison his 95% and 5% mentality and lead justly and in fairness, no region should be considered sacred cow and some other considered scape goat, this is not 1963. Let's us practice fairness, equity and justice across boards. Let all Nigerians have a sense of belonging and not this lopsided arrangement favouring the north. If they refuse to develop, it is their cup of tea.
They raised a valid point "if buhari can have time to meet with chibok girls and their parents, why not the Niger Delta Elders"
God bless Nigeria...Amen.

The question is: Why did they stop bombing in the first place?

Did they suddenly develop love for Buhari or is the otueke hippo (their godmother) not still receiving the grilling of her life?

Answer: Previously our soldiers were being frustrated and drowned because the terrorists had superior knowledge of the creeks and waters; UNTIL the military discovered that the perfect insecticide was using the Air-Force to bombard the terrorists from the air and destroying their targets with their helicopter gunships.

Ever since that strategy was implemented, we haven't heard "ween" from the creeks.

The Air-force is ready; bring it on.
Let's assume your story is true. Do the air force keep 24/7 surveillance over d creeks ?

First of all, the process for allocating oil blocs is through competitive bidding; nobody dashes anyone oil blocs. In fact many of the current license holders go into partnerships with foreign firms to raise the license fee which could run into hundreds of billions. If 80% of southerners happen to present the winning bids and are allocated the blocs, can the North blame the south for that?

Secondly, I would like you to quickly research the actual list of oil bloc owners and come back to tell me that 80% are owned by northerners. Its a complete fallacy and a repeated lie that southern propagandists have used over the years to blind their zombie followers while the rob their commonwealth.

Why should individuals even own oil blocs in the first place? Not to mention people who are not even from the specific region where the oil wells are located. Rubbish. Things they wouldn't tolerate from others.

This is what I expected from reasonable people from the Niger Delta, leverage on this impasse between Igbos & Hausa/fulani and get your rights once and for all. I was just shaking my head when I read that statement from the itshekiri; no tact, no logic, no self preservation, rather all I saw was some folks trying so hard to curry favour at the expense of the Igbos. N.D should demand total resource control, exclusive right to NNPC GMD & minister of petroleum (the same way a.b.o.k.i.s made minister of FCT their exclusive preserve), demand the re-allocation of all oil blocs to the communities rather than being owned by the likes of TY Danjuma, Indimi & other a.b.o.k.i.s. DEMAND YOUR RIGHTS NOW THAT IGBOS HAVE BOXED THE PARASITES TO A TIGHT CORNER & use it as a bait of "give them to me or we form N.D Rep/Biafra". Team up with the Igbos now & stop the exploitation once and for all. A word is enough for the wise.
We've pretty much always been on the same team. Everyone (except Yoruba ppl I guess) is tired of this state of injustice and turmoil
