Yeah I went there to the application center today and they told me to call their home office which I did just this night.

After charging the 20 pounds, they said they had made a decision since last week Friday and that within 10 working days which started last week so by next week, my passport should be out for collection.

okey. i am actually in similar situation. submission / biometrics at ikeja TLC on 15th May. No responses on decision yet, and my travel date is barely a week to go. The delay is just.........!!!

you can use that link to check ur status, if TLC website ain't updated.

If he has a resident permit. Then do you wish to apply to visit him or settle with him in the U.K.

I would prefer to settle in the USA but at least a visit to the UK will pacify me.

Hello guys. I'm about to apply for a standard visitor visa. Kindly help me check if the following documents are enough :
1. Letter of introduction from my office
2. Appointment letter
3. Confirmation of appointment letter
4. Statement of account of 600k
5. Ecowas passport
6. Stamped payslip of 6months from my office.
Kindly help me state there other things that should be included.
Thanks in anticipation

If you are sponsoring yourself N600K is not enough, the only time you should use such an amount is if you have someone sponsoring part of your trip or fully. This amount would fly before but not now, you should only risk this with a personal guide. Except you thoroughly scrutinize your form filling technique and your documents

This is a bit complicated. To visit him in the U.K., you must shows solid proofs of enduring relationship with him. To settle with him in the US you must marry him. Proving spousal relationship is very hard as the home office will expect you describe in details everything about relationship, etc. I will advise you conclude on the marriage aspect first before thinking of applying either to the US or U.K.

Ask you bank to profile your card for international transaction. Or open other payment channels like PayPal and Paga.com.

I suggest you contact TLS to change it, since you cannot do it again. You can do this on the TLS websites. Note you must register on the TLS websites using your GWF number to book appointment and pay for added value services such as priority.

Okay. The ECO will judge your application majorly on your finances which in turn is tied to your job. So what will be your bank balance when you apply? Prepare a list of places of interest you intends to visit and shop.

Sorry about that. N30K is a lot of money to pay for a service that will not add any influence or advantages to your application.

since a decision has been made since may 24, u can go to their embassy at walter street VI to complain to them, they might give you your passport if its with them.
only go to the TLS contact centre if they have sent you email for collection, if not, go to their embassy at VI and complain to them, don't forget to go with your collection slip when going them, they will return your passport if its with them

Go to where you submitted your application. If your passport is not there then go to British Deputy high commission office on Walter Carington Cresent, Victoria Island. Go with your collection slip.

I have made the online application for parents from UK.
Can I scan the supporting documents ( payslip, bank statement , grad invitation from Uni and tenancy agreement ) and send together with completed application via email instead of sending it down via DHL?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Sammiejokes(m): 4:44pm On Jun 11, 2017
Hello guys this is my first time here, but I must commend how much problems have been solved through you guyz.
My fiancee is a nurse and i work as an insurance executive. She just got a job with an healthcare ptovider in uk and Certificate of sponsorship has been issued to her. She wants us to get married and apply together on her tier2 visa. I have a statement of account of over 2m as a dependant and I can get letter of introduction from my company. I like to know if our young marriage will not be an issue to the VO. We have been dating from university days.

Sure you can do that by email. However, the printed application forms are no longer required by the home office. You will need to register your parents on TLS website and book appointment for them to submit their passports and other supporting documents from you, as well as their own supporting document.
