I need answer for the 1st question. Is my reason genuine for pre master program?
Well, yes. Just make sure you explain this in your SOP and let the VO know that the pre masters program qualifies you to proceed to a masters degree.
You should explain this in simple English.
What program are you going for? What's your previous degree and what school?

Hi, likeababygirl please could you post your timeline and documents you submitted? What school are you going to? Were you asked to pay tuition before you got your visa approved?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Markab: 2:33pm On Jun 11, 2017
It's a multiple entry visa as long your visa is valid
CanadianNurse:
Someone in Canada on a study permits wants to travel outside of Canada for a holiday, what does he need to do to be able to come back into Canada? Does he need to apply for visa again? Or the study permit is enough document? Is the temporary resident visa multiple entry?

@austinepee4 @justwise @nelly28 all gurus in the house help please

My school is saying I don't need to pay anything until I resume and register for classes.

Then just convert to dollars and open a dorm account and fund it with the dollars. Then explain in your letter of explanation that you have already converted your living funds and this is proof (attach your dorm SOA) and explain the other 4 million in your first account is for your fees and you haven't paid because the school instructed you not to yet (please attach proof of where the school made this clear).

My thoughts!

All the best!

Did you do medicals upfront or called for medicals? If you did then it could be approval. If you didn't, its isnt approval

When did you finish school and how many years have you been working as the admin manager?

Well, I'm only just an admission seeker but have followed this thread for a while. When u get to d visa application stage a PhD will sell better than another msc but that doesn't mean u can't get your TRV with a well packaged application for masters, good sop where u clearly explain to the visa officer why u r going for another masters and not a PhD.
For mine, I started out by googling schools in Canada that offer masters with funding (thesis) in biochemistry (which is my undergraduate course). I came up with McGill, UBC and Toronto. Applied to all three in December and I've started getting feedback from the grad coordinators except Toronto. It's been so difficult securing a positive feedback from supervisors. I dunno if they have prejudice against we Africans. Don't want to dwell on that anyway. I'm still shooting out mails. It's tough work because I have to tailor each mail to suit each faculty member based on their research area. I'm interested in oncology, gene expression and cell biology in that order.

So my advice is just take Ur time and do research online. The schools I applied to I later got to know from guys in this forum that my chances r slim as the competition there is very stiff. So u may want to look for schools at the middle of the ranking cos they might be easier. Write the faculty members of these schools first as you r a PhD applicant. Write a compelling mail to them and share your past works, papers that are related to their field and wait for their feedback. You can always apply when you have secured a supervisor.

All the best fellow eminent!

PS.... UBC doesn't offer biochemistry alone but combine it with Molecular biology. Some schools too are like that. So don't let it put u off its still very much d same as both field are quite interrelated.

@freeradical, I have a degree in biochemistry as well(2nd class lower). I'd love to further my studies in canada(not in biochemistry though), but everything is pointing at Colleges in Canada given that I finished with 2nd class lower. Do you think I have a chance to enter for something post-graduate at a University in Canada?

Please opinions are welcomes from everyone too. Thanks in advance.

Thanks bro you've been supportive... So the trv expires after your study? Or how long does the trv last? Is it the same expiry date with the study permit

Hi, did you select your courses before making payments? How did you do this without getting TRV?

However, I believe you should place a call through to the student's account office, ext 4900. That's your best bet. ISO may not be the best route.

Also, can you send your details? I am also a prospective Concordian for fall 2017.
Hi, so sorry, I just saw your message. My course adviser sent me a form, which I used to do the registration, which I signed and scanned back to her. She later updated myconcordia.ca account with it and I was billed for the courses registered. You can do this yourself at myconcordia.ca. The difference is that you will be able to only register for a maximum of two courses.

I posted an update that I have received my receipt. I already have applied for TRV.

@Austinpee4, @Folaroyal
Finishing with a second class lower shouldn't outrightly condemn u to opt for colleges. Do your research very well on university masters and submit a good application you may get lucky. I'd advise you put in for course based masters though to avoid the competition for funding peculiar with y most research based applicants get rejections.

Wish you all d best in your academic endeavours super eminent.

To those that have landed, kindly help on this one.

I would like to confirm the no of baggage for Egypt Air, on their, website it's quite difficult to decipher, it's stated max weight is 23kg per bag for economy but I could get this question answered "how many". We are planning on going 3-4bags.is this achievable?

It's 23kg per bag as you have stated but you are allowed to travel with 2 bags @23kg per bag making a total of 46kg. You can however split your bags but no matter the number of bags you travel with, it must not exceed 46kg.
Regards.
