Anytime i see these list of highest paying schools , what crosses my mind if "does these people paying this money get value for it ? So I saw one school in Abuja and just checked it out . Nice pictures and all but another story caught my eyes about a teacher that was stacking shelves in asda and saw an advert for an English teacher with good perks and decided to come to nigeria to take the job . i attended an American International School in east Africa while growing up as a Diplomats Son. That is the best education i got, every other one was just pass time

All these children no useful to Nigeria in d sense that most of them will go abroad for university education. And trust me, they always perform well. In most cases, they graduate and are retained. Leading to what is known as"brain drain". So tell me how them take useful to 9ja?

go our universities nko. Before you even attend class or even write exam lecturer for don tell you say you go fail. Our educational system is a huge joke. If you have the money, just send your kids to one of these quality secondary schools we have here and send them abroad for their tertiary education. Look at kechi that sosoliso plane crash survivor. she finished from loyola jesuit. She went ahead to texas for her university. If she had studied in naija, do you think she'll be what she is today? big NO

There are lots of schools that I know of in Abuja that are not on this list. I mean International Schools of repute whose school fees are also more than these:
Regent, Aduvie, Capital Science Academy, Noble hall, etc.

Quite a number of these folks now stay in Nigerian private universities for undergrad studies. Come over to CU, Babcock, AUN, and even Afe and you would see quite a number of them. However, most if not all ditch Nigerian universities for PG studies. But hopefully that would change with private universities getting better with PG studies.

I can confidently say that: the fee for the last school if calculated carefully would have paid my tuition fee from primary to post-graduate school and will still be left with some huge change! Money is good walahi fa!!!

I see loyola jesuit on the list. That school is filled with geniuses, the smartest children in Nigeria all go to that school. That's the only school that merits all the money. It's the only ivy league prep school in Nigeria. Damn this just gave me an idea.

Okay. It would be different if she attended UI. Because we have LJC's best student in UI and the person does not even rank among top 5, though also very brilliant. Med sch is extremely competitive.

The real question is "what's your child doing in any school in Nigeria if you can afford these fees?". You're paying so much for so little when you can ship him/her off to regular schools in US, Germany, japan that will provide far more for sooooooooo much less.

You shouldn't be comparing these schools to schools in Nigeria with what is being charged by them, instead compare them to schools in developed countries... by that analogy, you'll realize they are literally paying 100 naira for what's worth 5 naira in those countries. For Christ sake these kids will still end up writing common toefl or ielts.. their counterparts in developed world attending free schools won't do that. Not worth wasting all that money in Nigeria unless you're tied/chained to the country.

Is their School cert/J.A.M.B /UTME pass rate higher than others?
